Was just checking some fantasy football considerations and saw this...Is this the story of his life?

Percy Harvin's role in the Buffalo offense is unclear, and due to the fact he is also coming back from a hip injury, he may struggle to make an impact Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

That should be a heck of a game.

" From 2000 to 2007, the Patriots videotaped the signals of opposing coaches in 40 games. "

Here's what most people forget: taping coaches' signals is not and never has been against the rules. What is against the rules is taping coaches' signals from the sidelines, though even that has only been illegal since 2007. So how many teams' coaches' signals were taped between 2000-2006 has no bearing on anything.

GRONK. What a STUD. Not only 3 TDs but the Fumble recovery and the onside kick. Funniest thing in NFL history is the Moss Faux Moon at Lambeau. 2nd -50th funniest thing in NFL history is Watching CBs try to tackle GRONK.

Seriously, how do you cover him? He's too fast for any LB to keep up (and he's bigger than most), and there isn't a CB or S in the league with the length to guard him. The ONLY thing wrong with Gronk is that he's so big that he seems to be injured more than you'd like. Otherwise, he's probably the most dominant player at any position in the league right now, at least in terms of the drop off between him and the next best guy.

His 3rd TD was just unfair. Motioning from a goalline formation and forcing an inside LBer on him out on the edge.

He's 26 years old and he already has 1/3 the yards and 1/2 the TDs of Tony Gonzales.

Barr could shut him down.

That WOULD be interesting. Barr is 6'5" 255 and ran the 40 at 4.66 at the combine but ran an electronic timed 40 at his pro day at 4.41 WOW

Gronkowski is 6'6" 265 and ran the 40 at 4.61 at his pro day.

Barr should practice at CB on the side.

It is his first year in the NFL, and he'll get better as he goes along. But I don't look at this guy as a rookie passer at all. He can throw the ball any place and get it in there

I definitely thought he looked like a rookie throwing the ball.

Mariota looks a step ahead.

First, he mentioned that his Super Bowl interception was all part of God's plan: "The play happens, I take three steps, and God says to me, 'I'm using you.' My sixth step, God says to me, 'I want to see how you respond, but more importantly I want [the world] to see how you respond.' "

I probably think about this shit too much but every time I see a replay of this play I think...you were in the shotgun and took two small steps before quickly firing the ball!

I think both guys need a LOT of seasoning before they are ready

Both would have benefited from sitting this year IMO

NFL Star GOES OFF On Man Who Called For “Open Season On Crackers and Cops”

#BlackLivesMatter leader “King Noble” made national headlines about a week ago, after calling for “open season on crackers and cops” in a video rant uploaded to YouTube. Gloating about the execution of the deputy in Houston, he made it clear that this was just the beginning of violence on whites by his group, promising to America that “it’s about to go down.”

Before Noble’s website was removed after our investigator Hannibal from IllWriteIt.com reported it for hosting illegal porn, Noble utilized it as a platform for spreading his anti-white cop diatribes. Noble created a meme to help spread his hate-filled propaganda, using the images of NFL stars Richard Sherman and Marshawn Lynch to create a meme with a caption that read, “when are we gon kill these KKK Kracka, bro.”

Somehow NFL sensation Richard Sherman found out his image was being used on the black supremacist’s website, was NOT pleased at all. Threatening to sue, the football star came onto Noble’s site to set things straight, commenting as user RSherman25 with the following rant:

“I did not believe this when I heard about it. I watched your videos. I started a life in the ghetto..I banged like a fool till I woke up. I was not suppressed by any man or woman, white or black,” he began.

“I worked myself up from Compton High School to a scholarship at Standford University and I did it myself. I take pride in what I have accomplished both as a black man, and an athlete. I could have stayed in LA and banged and used drugs and thought that it was all the white man’s fault. But that would be a lie. We are who we want to be, that is what is great about America. We are all born with the same chances in life..white or black…YOU choose to be a woman-abusing racist loudmouth. I would love to debate you on national TV. And if you condone senseless black shootings of whites and police officers, you better make that a debate on Springer, so I can bitchslap your ignorant ass!

You are what is keeping and making the black race look bad. Wake up fool. Do not glorify this half a man, he has worked for nothing. He chose to keep himself where he is, not the white people. It is time to take responsibility for your own actions, and not act like a stinking fool. Kids and young black men and women look at this site, and believe that they are abused. That is a bold-faced lie. It is out of the mouths of cheap thugs like you that are hurting our young and taking away the chances they have to make themselves a productive part of society. Brothers and sisters: the only slavery in America now is the one you put yourself into. Rise up like Doctor King as taught us, and be a real human being. We are all in this togehter, white and black. Peace to all, and I hope this stupid fake hate stops real soon. We are all brothers and sisters. Do not be fooled by the tyranny of evil men like this. Lift yourself up, educate yourselves, and work hard for a good life. No one owes you anything. Stand proud as a person of color, and do something meaningful with your life. I did and I am the best at what I do! Peace out, R Sherman.”

That's one of the best things I've 'heard come out of a players mouth'...he's earned a lot of respect from me after reading that. He didn't evoke Jesus once!

Funny remembering back to some posters, perhaps just one poster, absolutely trashing him as a punk. Seems like a leader to me. Kudos to Sherman.

And not that long ago people were quick to label and judge him.

Punk, thug and all sorts of reckless, uninformed statements about him.

Now that he states views you believe in, it's all good?

Guilt not necessary. Right now, he's a football player. That's how I judge him.

A few short years ago, Sherman was a punk, thug and Adrian Peterson was a good christian.

We get too caught up in the celebrity of it all.

I don't know the man, I know the player. That's good enough for me, for the most part.

When they leave the game is when you may have a chance to find out about the man.

Harry Carson is a good example of that. So is Lawrence Taylor.

I think football is no different than life.

There are very few people that we truly know. People we think are bums are true and vice versa.

Who expected that stuff out of Bill Cosby?

Many didn't expect Sherman to be a stand up guy

People thought McNabb was a solid citizen

Kirby Puckett

We barely even know what our CHILDREN will do so we certainly don't know what strangers are made of

Kudos to Sherman.

Thanks for posting that JC

I think Sherman gained a bad rap on himself by trashing Crabtree in that NFCCG couple years ago. But as we all learn more about him that incedent certainly does and will not define him.

First of all, "Black Lives Matter" doesn't represent to view of most blacks as far as I can see. I don't see where Sherman needs to be applauded for speaking his mind. All he is doing is covering his ass. Was his view totally on point? Yes. Did he articulate his point well? Sure he did, but he is an intelligent, very image-conscious guy. Why would he want his name connected to THAT? That isn't good for his brand!

For the record, I like Sherman. I loved watching him make Peyton Manning shit his pants in the Super Bowl. It's just that we need not be amazed with African Americans who make a good point. They are making excellent points on race issues left, right and center. The problem is with social media and how the media reacts to racism. If the leader of a white organization did something like this it would be splashed all over the news and denounced by white people for days on end because the (liberal) media would be sure it's a story.

Anyway, I fully expect my Giants to get into meltdown mode tonight. They ALWAYS do this on national night games. They pretty much for the last 15 year so years. Expect Eli to throw at least 3 interceptions against a team I despise more than any other. I cannot believe he was extended for four more years. He did win the Giant fan two SBs. I can't take that away from him. I just don't think he bring as much value as the Giants seem to think.
