Manning flopping his junkpile on his trainer was minor in comparison to the way the school and the Mannings systematically destroyed the trainer's career. Shame on them. What a bunch of cowards.

Hey, woman, how dare you speak up when sexually assaulted. You will be taught a lesson.

I have no empathy for either the perp or the vicitim that was more than happy to take money and clam up about it. She could have easily pressed charges and still gotten an nice settlement from the Manning family. But she didn't. She decided to just take the money and run. So you will all forgive me for not feeling so bad for her. I don't condone endorse or promote anything that Peyton did here. He's not my hero or anything...he's never been a viking and hopefully never will be. Just cause you hate Manning doesn't mean she didn't cash in from this incident.

There has been exactly zero incidences on mannings part since then.

The entire point of my post was everybody deserves the second chance.

And if you are are offended by the use of quotation marks. Well, I can't help you.

If a female loved one of yours was sexually assaulted, would you consider her a "victim" or a victim?

A woman's actions after an assault have no bearing on the hideous nature of the assault

That is men making themselves feel better about sexual assault

Doesn't matter if she took the money
Reported it
Or kept it locked inside her for the rest of her life

She was humiliated and assaulted. Then they ran a smear campaign and ruined her career. Pay the lady her money and she shouldn't feel one ounce of remorse or regret or shame.

This is where the issue has finally gotton legs. Apparently this woman had an impeccable reputation and was dismissed by Tenn.

All boils down to football being the cash cow. We will do the right thing only when it doesn't hurt the bottom line.

Bears and Martellus Bennett's agent, Kennard McGuire, are working together to trade the tight end to an agreeable landing spot, per source.

I read this morning that Peyton Manning has decided to retire. If true, I think that's a good choice for him. Retire at the top, stop putting wear and tear on your body, and leave while the spotlight of negative news would make next season ugly.

He doesn't have much of a choice IMO. He could barely throw the ball in the SB. Nobody is going to pay him at this point.

While they should, and probably will relax the rules...there are rules. These guys can probably smoke their brains out in the off season...when it's time to be clean...be clean.

According to the police report, Walker was riding a Honda dirt bike with no lights and wearing dark clothing when he hit a Ford Escape heading the opposite direction at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday.

I accept this tone more than reading all the people going out of their way to express sympathy and send prayers to someone who occupied zero space in their brain before the accident and likely very little going forward a tiny bit.

Even Teddy's take bugs me.

The guy got smoked on his bike when it could have been completely avoidable. Some plan. Basically the opposite of prospering.

it's like god looked down.. said: "hey jesus.... look at this idiot endangering himself and others riding an off road, lightless dirt bike, with out protective gear, down a city street at dusk... think we should give him a "call"?.. jesus: " yea.. that guy in the SUV has some issues he needs to have some guilt piled on top of.. let's go for it"..

so let it be written...

dominus requiem....

darwin in action..

thin the herd..

but jeff.. if "god" has "plans" for you in the future.. that's when you "get away with one.. " or two.. or however many..right?

but if your life has reached it's pinnacle as you ride a dirtbike, after dark, without lights, in dark clothing, down a city street, towards an SUV, who's driver may have been checking the station on the radio, or looking at some random house, or preoccupied with some thing someone said earlier, and not paying strict attention to EVERY MINUTE DETAIL of the surroundings of his personal tank..

well "god" calls your dumb ass home to jesus for tea and a lecture.....

Oh, I'm with ya there man. The kid made a stupid mistake. I won't get in to the whole "God had a plan" but I bet we are closer to agreeing than apart. It's just a not "message board" convo for me. Over some beers, hell yeah

People use that as comfort and I have no problem with that. I may not agree but it's not my call (for their comfort).

The ones that really make me LOL are the gameday "I wanna thank God for that AD fumble in to my bread basket. It was easy to walk in to the EZ for the game winning TD".

Really dude? You think that's what 'he' gives a shit about?????????????

And RGIII signs with Cleveland. They dump one trainwreck and pick up another.

I wonder if Cleveland is going to suck this year...

Free-agent safety Husain Abdullah announced Monday that he has decided to retire, posting on Instagram that his health was the primary deciding factor after suffering five concussions in his seven-year career.

Abdullah thanked the Minnesota Vikings for signing him as an undrafted free agent in 2008 and called his three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs "the most enjoyable football experience in my entire life."
