I don't like how BSU dropped. One fluky loss and one legitimate loss to the #1 team in the country shouldn't result in a drop. It should actually move you up.

Another tough loss for BSU. 3-2 to Mankato. It wasn't fluky though as Mankato outshot them 27-24.

BSU FINALLY gets a big WIN by taking down Mankato 4-2. Moved them up to 19th in the Pairwise. Top 16 make the NCAA tourney.
Minnesota loses 4-2 to Michigan State. In football or basketball losing to Michigan state is forgivable, but not in hockey.
Minnesota down to #40 in the pairwise. This should not be possible. The state of hockey and by far the biggest school in the state.

SCSU couldn't get the road win at Miami, OH settling for a tie despite outshooting Miami 44-30. Despite ranking second in the nation in goals allowed IMO Goaltending is not good for SCSU so far this year.
Ties were rampant with Minnesota tying OSU 2-2 and BSU tying Mich Tech 3-3
UMD had an easy 5-0 win over UND
Mankato won 4-2 over Lake Superior.

I didn't watch or listen to the SCSU game last night which is officially a tie, but the Huskies got an extra conference point in a shootout win. So almost a win. I am confused about how the NCHC does that.

Not a good weekend for the Beavers, but Michigan Tech looks like a really good team this season. They are still undefeated in the WCHA. At least we salvaged a tie on Friday night.

New rankings are out and Massachusetts squeaks by SCSU for #1 with 26 first place votes while SCSU had 22. I'm surprised that Mankato made no ground with a sweep over a ranked team. They received 1 first place vote out of 50. UMD in fourth place with the final FPV.
Minnesota 23rd and Beavers got no points in the rankings. They need to turn things around fast if they are going to make the tourney.

I'm watching the bottom-feeding St Cloud State women put a scare into #1 ranked Wisconsin. It's a 1 to 1 tie in the 3rd period. Game is on FSN.

Oh crap. Wisconsin finally puts one in with 6 minutes left. The Badgers have outshot the Huskies 46-10 so far, but the lead is only 2-1.

Started out flipping back and forth between SCSU and Gophers games. Huskies are dominating, so I guess I'll watch the more interesting Gophers game from here on out.

Congrats kg. But condolences on the SCSU women's losses to Wisconsin this weekend. Today was a valiant effort. Lost 3-1, but there was an empty-netter.
