Good game for Driscoll last night!

Zach Driscoll made 25 saves en route to a shutout and Owen Sillinger collected an assist to go with his team-leading third game-winning goal as the Bemidji State University men's hockey team earned a 3-0 victory over the University of Alaska Friday at Sanford Center.

That's nice to see. He's been struggling. I'm betting I'll get to see Henry Johnson in net this afternoon, which will be pretty cool.

I was really hoping the Beavers could get the sweep, but lost 2-1 in overtime.
Mankato gets a 2-1 win over Save Ferris Bueller
Gophers 2-1 to sweep Notre Dame.
Best for Last Huskies get a split at Duluth with a 4-2 win and since the loss was "FLUKY" I'm going to call it a sweep. Just kidding.
Massachusetts got a sweep and will take over the #1 ranking with the next poll.

I was at the Saturday BSU game. Trailed 1-0 most of the game, until we tied it with about 2 minutes left.

Then we quickly got dominated in OT and let in the inevitable losing goal. Our guys seemed to play OT like they had already earned a tie by getting that late 3rd period goal. Doesn't work that way.

I've been to one game each of the last 3 seasons, and BSU has lost all of them (and they are all games they were favored to win).

Huskies have a chance to reclaim #1 in the rankings. They are up 4-1 going into the third period. UMass down 1-0 at Northeastern going into the third.
Gophers lost 5-3 to Michigan State. Duluth up 2-0 at Miami.
Beavers just getting started with Mich Tech.
Mankato losing 1-0 lake superior in the second.

Huskies hold on 5-3. UMass loses 2-1 in OT. That should be enough for them to take the #1 ranking again.
Duluth 3-0 shutout over Miami giving up no goals this weekend.
No Score in the second BSU vs Mich Tech
Mankato down 1-0 entering the third I think.

I thought the Huskies would take back #1. I didn't think they would be a runaway leader, but they are. 46 first place votes and 4 second place votes out of 50 voters. UMass is second. UMD 4th, Mankato 8th, Rodents 24th, and Beavers up to 31st. Pairwise is the more important ranking and is identical to the voters anyway.

Bemidji killed HDiM
Absolutely killed it, in every aspect.
Didn't let the cold affect a thing.
Perfect job on the HS games. The ice, the setting, the running of it, was flawless from what I saw.
One of the best days (weekends) of the year. And Bemidji made it as magical as its supposed to be.

Driscoll is playing goalie every game for BSU lately. I wonder if that changes tonight? Henry Johnson has been more impressive IMO. Not sure why he's not seeing time anymore.

Great game for North Dakota tonight. Then in the last minute they slash Huskies star player Ryan Poehling on the wrist. North Dakota has a bad rep for Dirty play and they just enhanced it. Hope that guy gets a very long suspension.
