Status: online 		Another sister kisser Huskies vs Beavers 2-2
Mankato 5-0 over Arizona State
UMD up 2-1 on Lowell with 10 minutes to go.
Minnesota down 0-2 vs Colorado College.

Status: online 		Both the Huskies and Beavers are looking for their first win of the year after this weekend. Beavers let a 4-0 lead slip in the 3rd period on Friday night, only to come back from a 2-0 deficit in the 3rd on Saturday night. Sounds llike a couple of exciting games to get the year kicked off! Good luck to your Huskies KG the rest of the way. Not a bad start for the Beavers to play toe to toe with the #7 team in the country two consecutive nights.

Thank you. The Huskies are only picked 4th in the NCHC by the people who know them better. National Voters just see that we have been highly ranked the last few years and vote for us again. I would guess we are more legitimately a mid teens type team. I wish the Beavers the very best for the season along with Mankato and Minnesota. I wish UMD well to a lesser degree. I'm so frustrated with dominating them all season long only to have them get hot during the tournament and win what IMO should be ours. Sour grapes yes.

His first goal as a Beaver would stand as the game-tying goal as BSU and SCSU split the nonconference series.

Please tell me it's not Mitch's brother.

Status: offline 		Still don't understand why Driscoll gets so many starts in goal. Was hoping he was gone this year. Nope. Only a Junior - same as our other goaltender Henry Johnson.

Lots of good goalies around the nation
Getting harder to score at some of these levels.

Not a happy year there so far in GF

Son is working more games this year
he's always the net-setter (if any of you get there)

Status: offline 		UND used to have a roster filled with Canadian kids. U of M always was exclusively MN kids.

This weekend, UND's roster consisted of 10 MN kids (one from East Grand) and 3 kids from Grand Forks.

Bemidji had 7 kids from MN on its roster.

I thought that was interesting.

Two ties vs St Cloud and two losses vs North Dakota (including one OT loss).

0-2-2 record

Let's change that this weekend in Fairbanks. Huge series to start the WCHA season for the Beavers. BSU and LSSU are the only 2 WCHA teams that have not played a conference game yet.

My son played with 2/3 of the Beavers top line in a couple tournaments
Pretty cool for him and me, maybe not so great for you two.

Like I said, they'll be fine. Its a good club.

Status: offline 		Bemidji splits the series in Fairbanks. Driscoll pitches a shutout on Friday. Then he struggles last night and we lose a game where we outshot them 38-23.
