Wouldn't, shouldn't, couldn't the father share some of the responsibility in making sure his son gets rehab help? Why the "if they can't get him help"? Wouldn't his father be part of they?

He is probably at the point of "if he won't listen to me, maybe he will listen to X, Y or Z". I know, I had my parents at a pretty despondent point before I got help.

A story on his upbringing. Family has a history that despite all of their success, they get into trouble.

Sounds like Johnny's father and mother tried to isolate their kids from the negatives of the family members that preceded them.

There are a lot of self-destructive young men playing our professional sports.
Some stay half-way sane during their careers, because they need the money their talent provides them.
Johnny doesn't have that incentive.

Status: offline 		Another problem is when guys only play football for the money. Eddie Lacy seems to be one of those guys. I've heard him say he doesn't really like football and that's why he probably doesn't stay in shape - The Kent Hrbek of the NFL??? (although I don't know if Kent really liked baseball. He sure didn't taken care of his body like he cared much)

No argument here. A Kent Hrbek who took care of his body would have been a hall of famer.

Status: offline 		Congrats to Peyton. I certainly didn't see this. Looks like Cam (MeBron of the NFL) and his Panther teammates read a few too many of their press clippings.

I will also say this; this game made me really, really excited for our Vikings. I was at that game this year in Denver, and Teddy far outplayed what Cam did today, at their house, in a game that we EASILY could have won. The future is very, very bright for the Purple, guys.

Status: offline 		I like to see guys who lack humility put in their place. I also enjoyed watching the D dominate the game. It makes me more hopeful that our team's blueprint is close to getting us there. The D really needs to upgrade the safety spot opposite Smith. Then we need to invest in OL and WR. We could be their next year with the right moves.

Status: offline 		Honestly, we could have easily been there THIS year. If we beat Seattle, I see us beating Arizona. Who knows against Carolina? But I'm not sure I don't like our chances a 2nd time against Denver, either. We are clooooosse.

Expected more from halftime........when I found out that Beyonce would be there, my hopes for halftime went down the toilet.

Great defense from both teams.

Pretty bad offense. One thing Peyton has learned, with a defense as good as Denver's, don't screw it up by trying to do too much offensively.
