The puppy-monkey-baby ad needs to die a quick death.

That was an example of someone hearing that you can't go wrong putting a monkey in your ad - and taking it to the most ridiculous, disturbing, bizarro level ever. I can't even remember what product they were selling, but I feel like I want to boycott it for life just because their ad was so ick.

I agree. It was terrible. It was for Kickstart BTW. One of the guys at work thought that commercial was the best one - but he's in management so what do you expect?

Went into the SB in a blah mode, but loved most of it.
Halftime was outstanding IMO.
Couple ads were awesome.
The sheep was my favorite. SB babies was great.
Doritos and puppy-monkey-baby were horrific, IMO.

Will Kuechly now me remembered for getting trucked, ala The Boz? Doubt it.
Glad to see the Mannings get another.
Sad when a young star loves the attention, but can't man up after a loss.
Talib the only Denver loser on the day, was he on crack? Coulda killed that dude he chucked around with his facemask.
Rivera very classy, but his team played with zero discipline .

One Manning didn't appear so happy about it. That was the game clinching TD and it looks like someone shot Ely's dog...

I'm sure he's happy Denver won, but you have to think part of him LOVED having 1 more ring than his brother.

Wound up being a 1 yard penalty. Should have thrown him out of the game.

Panthers had a mistake for nearly every possession.

Cam was hugely disappointing. All that bluster when winning.

And on the TD...did anyone else notice he wanted Stewart to continue the celebration, and give the ball away? Stewart didn't,
took the ball and ran to the sidelines.

Must have started the bad karma.

I will never forget the 1969 title game against the Cleveland Browns......Jim Houston, linebacker for the Browns is set to tackle Kapp.....Kapp hurdles him. His knee hits Houston in the mouth, breaks his jaw and knocks Houston out of the game.

Kapp was one tough SOB.........he took a lot of hits and will ultimately be diagnosed as CTE.

Sad.....he made my life great that fall of 1969. We loved Joe Kapp.

Yup.
The ultimate team guy, leader, and winner.
He's old ... Been a great life really, FB can't really be blamed for speeding up any aging process, in his case.
Dude rode hard.
Everything he did.
No regrets. Love those types.

Honestly, we could have easily been there THIS year. If we beat Seattle, I see us beating Arizona. Who knows against Carolina? But I'm not sure I don't like our chances a 2nd time against Denver, either. We are clooooosse.

Not close at all really. The Vikings have to rebuild the entire offensive line. That is a monumental task. The Vikings defense is very close. The offense is a distant lighthouse beam trying to find a moment of light in a dense fog.

Missed that add, Sweens, but others in the house did not,and I heard it for 2 more quarters constantly. Sounds icky.

If I was a gun owner, I would have shot my TV.

That was the worst commercial I have ever seen in my life. Simply terrible that it made it through the idea stage, let alone through actual production and edit.

I am surprised the NFL doesn't give Kalib a lengthy suspension for that play. He is dirtiest player in the league. What an asshole!

Cam Newton defends behavior after Super Bowl, saying he won't be a "good loser" and "I'm not about to conform."

Wow, he's doubling down on that?! Good luck.

Not a lot of good losers...but most guys show some class. The way he acted after being a dancing fool all year is quite embarrassing and he can't see that one lick.

It's like the cockiest Monopoly player yucking it up over 10 consecutive wins and then flipping the board storming off after ONE loss. Who likes that kind of person?

Yup, it's the contrast, to me.
If you're gonna dance like a butterfly chaser when things are great, don't get all down in the mouth after one tough loss.
Dudes never lost the things he's wanted. Won the natty champ in college, won the heisman, won the MVP, won some big playoff games.
Nobody wins all the big ones, kid.

So Cam admits he didn't go for the fumble as he didn't want to risk injury.

Says the guy doing unnecessary flips into the EZ almost getting dropped on his neck.

Exactly
Can't have it both ways chump.
Same with the "don't tell me how to lose" crap.
You want love and coverage when you win, then suck it up when you lose.
Spoiled baby.

According to the Sports Business Daily, the Detroit Lions’ most likely opponent in their annual Thanksgiving Day game next season is the NFC North-champion Vikings. The division was still called the NFC Central in the Vikings’ last Turkey Day game, a 2000 victory over the Dallas Cowboys.
