It really is remarkable because I am widely regarded as a shallow individual.

Cool
Let's hope it goes away

I agree. But it won't. It's "working". It's spreading. And I see a bad moon rising, if you'll pardon the expression. This is big trouble for the once-virtually-apolitical places to which we could escape. It's not far-fetched to envision a chain reaction something like this:

We go from players "expressing" pre-game, to actually boycotting games. Next, large chunks of fans follow suit, because the OPPOSE such player boycotts. Before you know it, locker rooms are split. Fines follow. Then suspensions. BLM shows up en masse outside stadiums before games. More fans opt to stay away. Ad revenue slips. You see where this could all lead, right? "There Goes the Ballgame" (obscure song from New York, New York, Liza Minelli).

We've gotta stop giving attention to morons like CK and the fool who ran out onto the field last night in Santa Clara. The attention-starved are loving life right now.

Cats and Dogs living together!!!

Univeral Armageddon is going to erupt because of this shit!

It will never escalate to that level.

Kendricks the NFC defensive player of the week.

Quickly becoming one of my favorite Vikings to watch.

How different they are when he's not in the lineup.

Love it but really, it was Griff that made that play. I was in a bar and they had the Ravens game on the sound. I could still hear Mariota scream when he turned and saw him, it was ear piercing.

Then Griffin helped give up that last touchdown.

2-3 steps after throwing the pass and you shove the QB?

For years, the league allowed the mindset that once the ball turned over, the most vulnerable guys on offense became fair game.
Used to see guys just abuse QBs and Prima Donna WRs.
Suddenly they're all protected.
I'd be confused too,
All that said, it was a dumb play by Griff.
But let's please not coach or ref all the aggressiveness our of our attackers.

Griff had no way of knowing it was a turnover (and it likely wasn't yet when the hit came). He was too busy loading up a cheap shot...

It was. Zimmer even said exactly that in his post game presser.

I just don't think this was a case of protecting QBs or something to be worried about coaching aggressiveness out of a player.

If Smith was coming back the other way and was anywhere near Mariotta, what Griff did would've been 100% legal every time. Even if it was to Peyton Manning.

And I doubt Zim would've been upset if it was a bang-bang play, or even an inadvertent helmet-to-helmet. But the ball was clearly gone, Griff's momentum was stopped and he just shoved him to the ground. It wasn't even a "football move". Even Cam Newton gets that call.

Don't be so hard on Levine. He's been arguing with Brad H all day about Patterson and Theilen.

Ok, I love ya Zimmer, I endorsed you before most even knew your name ... but enough of this bullshit

Minnesota Vikings coach Mike Zimmer says he might not tell his players who is starting at QB, until Sunday night because he's concerned about leaks:

Yeah, I'm sure GB is shivering waiting on whether they need to prepare for Hill or not. It's not really a scary scenario either way.

Hill or a guy that barely knows the offense....

Big win against the curds. Love me some Bradford to Diggs. Sammy worth both picks. Gotta work on the line play, pretty disgraceful. Gotta work on recovering fumbles. PI penalties were the Packers best play, gotta clean that up.

Fun win.
No usual panic out of that game for me.
Bradford was fantastic. A guy who can throw on time, into areas, with authority.
Very underrated arm. And tough as nails.
Speaking of that.
GBs OLine on a scale of 1-100 .... I'd go with a 97. They're beasts and are a huge part of Rodgers succes.
Our OLine on a scale of 1-100 ..... I'm going with a -7
Horrific right now, makes SAMs performance that much more impressive.
If he stays healthy it will be a miracle.
I see big comparisons between the Twins pitchers and the Vikings offensive linemen.
Complete disasters right now.
Our defense is fantastic, even with Waynes killing us. Nice final pick, kid, that's why you never give up.
GB still acts superior and cocky, even tho their only real advantages were help from refs and inexperience in our DBs, and our pathetic OLine.
Good start to the year, ignoring injuries, moving on. Damn tough schedule. Next two will be very tough to be up for.

Matt Kalil still seems like the most uncoordinated, slow on his feet lineman ever.

Kalil is a statue on pass blocking right now. He supposedly has a hip issue right now. When he is in perfect health and pain free, he is in the bottom 1/4 of starting LT's. When he gets the slightest booboo, he is beyond worthless. It's time to give Clemmings a shot. You could put a blocking sled out there and get as much as Kalil is giving us right now. Even if Clemmings starts off at the same level, it is reasonable to assume he will improve.

GB's offense consisted of play, play, throw it up for grabs and hope for a PI call or blind luck. Not impressed.

Still trying to figure out why they were everyone's consensus to win the Superbowl.

I've been whining about that for weeks. Who crowned their ass? You could see right away their offense was like "oh shit these guys are good'
