never ever give a long term contract to a kicker or punter unless they are Adam Vinatieri in his prime or Ray Guy.

Our kicker from USD is 14 -18 in field goals and 38-38 in PAT's. And this is a down year for him. He has always been over 50 % on field goals of 50 + yards and he is at an FCS program.

Most high school kickers could have made the FG Walsh missed in the playoffs.

So did a couple drunk guys in a parking lot in northern Minnesota.
His career as a Viking ended that day.
Many of us understood that at the time.
The smart guys didn't, I guess.

They didn't get the o-line was a real problem either.

Our kicker is also our punter and has a 47 yard average this season. And to quote Torii Hunter, he doesn't even have his man muscles yet.

I'll be missing my best hockey defenseman for a couple weeks due to our HS team making the state semis.
He is one of the best soccer defenders on the HS team, and he handles all punting and kicking for the FB team.
AT THE SAME TIME.
The HS FB team here runs things like an NFL team, once they are inside the other teams 40, they know they have three points.
He's that good.
Frustrating to watch millionaires miss more than these kids.

Had to Google that one.

Number one rule for Kickers and Punters is

Don't cause Drama.

Walsh did that and missed Kicks.

Back to making toys for him I guess.

Back to the "winning formula"

Get TDs from special teams and the defense.

Kyle Rudolph should not be allowed in any situation that requires blocking. Terrible

PAT? He whiffed

Fumble? He whiffed

Huge run loss? He was blown up

Not sure I've ever enjoyed a pro FB player perfect his craft as much as Brady has.
That dagger he threw on third and long today, when SF thought they could upset the Pats yet ... was AMAZING.
He makes a throw or two, or a dozen ... a game, that no one else tries, or makes.
And he makes everyday Joes look like WR phenoms.

Btw ... how about that sucky catch by Thielen today to get us going?
Wish we have more guys that suck.
I kinda like them.

That drive btw, instigated by Sherels ... another one of the Suck All-Stars.

Thank goodness we have some guys that suck like that.

Bradford is looking to Thielen more and more.

Anyone know what those refs were watching yesterday?
Old dude standing right there ... watching Thielens catch .... demonstratively signals no catch, on maybe the easiest "yeah, by golly he DID get two feet down" call in history.
HOW do you not get that right?
Pretty much the same thing on the Asiata TD ... really, you're staring it down from the side ... you don't see him extend the ball?
Are these simple eye test issues ... or deeper problems? Just freakishly bad stuff.

Arians was livid over those penalties and other bad calls in the 2nd half.

And Aikman was unusually critical of the refs. Hardly have to touch someone these days in the NFL and it's a penalty.

On the Rhodes TD, I thought the WR was driving into Captain, and it was a good no call.

I thought that too Ed about the non-call on Captain.

I loved how Arians color matched his jacket most of the game.

It is a shame we had to use 2 challenges on those relatively easy calls, but I'm glad we were able to. In the old days we would've just gotten the shaft and had to live with it.

Absolutely. The receiver was trying to plow him straight back and then try to toss him right, while cutting left. You can't call Captain for the contact when the receiver is the one initiating it.

Who's going to take the hit for the way the pack has fallen apart?

Aaron Rodgers. He has sworn off cheese and Olivia Munn has sapped his strength.

A multi billion dollar industry uses part time refs.

Unfortunately with the Packers it's going to be the assistant to the traveling secretary or someone like that. The one time not having an owner really hurts.

What really set me off (after we had to use our challenges for 2 obvious calls) was when they had the exact situation as Asiata's TD and they ruled a TD. It was just as 'close' as ours yet nothing.

Unless you're on Hochuli's crew.

Few things out there better than a Thanksgiving Day with a Viking Game.
I've done some cool things on this rock, but days like Thursday are special.

Huge game too. I'm going to root for a loss by both teams.

My math is always fuzzy, but I think a tie would do some of that.
