If the golf course I'm a member at didn't close down 3 weeks ago, , I'd go golfing.

Blair Walsh project strikes again. Way to ruin the brief moment of positivity.

Walsh is a major head case. That was low and left at the line. Would've been horribly missed if it wasn't blocked.

Now that is a kicker. Vikes should sign the Gopher kicker, he was money yesterday.

Creative play for the go ahead TD, but why did we call time out with so much time left? Nice to have a kicker.

This game is directly on the failed shoulders of Blair Walsh. Despite the poor play of the offensive line again and the offense overall, his failure to make the necessary kicks forced us to go for a play on fourth down. We had the first down but of course, the wonderful crew of Edward G. Hochuli, attorney at law by day and incompetent official at night, saw otherwise.

Walsh is terrible right now.

I hate the Vikings......nothing but disappointment since 1968. Everytime they pull me back thinking they have finally turned the corner, the demonstrate that this franchised is cursed.

Loser reality?

Start of the year .. if offered ... "we are 5-3 and we beat GB and Carolina"

I probably would have taken it.

Now ... after starting 5-0? HELL NO

I know this isn't unusual for the NFL for a hot team to hit a cold stretch. It's just that our cold stretch has been so bad.

We knew what Walsh had become at the end of the season. And he has shown nothing that his problems are behind him.

Our offensive line is such a joke.

I see one guy on offense who regularly outperforms his talent and that is Thielen.

But it isn't simply the Vikings.....it is the whole professional sports scene in MN. We thought the Vikings had turned the corner and were on a solid trajectory. Now, I am not so sure. The key to an offense, the offensive line, is terrible.

Yeah, the T-Wolves are trending upward but how many years of optimism that they actually improve and become competitive. One season, one season and in the playoffs, we have Sam Cassell doing a dance and injuring his back.

The Twins.....we have the most formidable rotation in the league in 2006 and Liriano has to have TJ surgery after dominating everyone and Radke ends up with a torn labrum going into the playoffs. Then Hunter tries his spiderman effort on a fly ball that turns into an inside the park homer.

The Wild........well we know the North Stars had one helluva roster but left with that talent to bring a Stanley Cup to Dallas.

TO DALLAS for CRYING OUT LOUD

AS bad as when the Lakers went to LA and with it, all those championships.

Why does anyone follow MN professional sports anymore????????????????????????

Burn Down Target Field, Target Center, The Xcel and blow up US Bank Stadium.

It will help all MN sports fans in the long run.

Totally disagree about Target Field. A great venue. Would be a shame to burn it down, and you know that.

Those first 5 games were fools gold. Our offense sucked, just like it has the past 3, but we were getting unreal performances from the D and ST's.

In those first 5 we got:

PR for TD's
Big returns by CP on kickoff's
Pick 6's and multiple TO's
Decent games by Walsh and Locke was really good
Dominating performance by the front 7 with multiple sack games

In the past 3 we've got:

No PR's to speak of
a big KO return by the Eagles
No pick 6's and no real TO's (minus Greenway's gift today that we didn't get shit out of). Or, in the case of the Eagles game, we were even on TO's
Walsh and Locke have gone back to sucking ass
Barely pressure by the front 7

The Twins have a better chance to win a WS in the next 10 years than the Vikes. Vikes peaked. Twins and Falvey/Levine RISING!!! Like the frickin' sun in May.

We live in sports hell. But atleast we have a great climate to fall back on. Our winters are mild and our summers aren't humid and miserable. And most important thank GOD we don't have a mosquito problem.

I'm not sure that's something to hang your hat on man. Chicago's slogan is "our women have breasts and mustaches....and so do our men". Yet they just won the WS.....

What's happened to the mighty Pass Rush?

heard on the radio

"Linval Joseph is dominating ____, and has been in the DET backfield all day."

Shortly after, they got their first sack of the day

Gave up, raked leaves for 3 hours. I may not watch much the rest of the year.

Yes, the first 5 were fool's gold. They're exposed. badly.

The Lions may very well win the division. The Vikings and Packers are both pretty putrid right now.

Truth, Kerry
Shocked me that the Pack didn't complete that comeback yesterday ... they almost always do, in those games.

As CPA was alluding to ... that little weasel kicker standing there after the game ANGRY because he gets asked the same questions.
Someone should have grabbed him by the short hairs and waltzed him on his tippy toes out the door.
To be that bad, at your only job, and then to get uppity about it afterwards?
Bigger balls than heart (or brain) obviously.

Keeeeeck the touchdown, clown, and keep your mouth shut.
