ORIGINAL: SoMnFan Loser reality? Start of the year .. if offered ... "we are 5-3 and we beat GB and Carolina" I probably would have taken it. Now ... after starting 5-0? HELL NO I know this isn't unusual for the NFL for a hot team to hit a cold stretch. It's just that our cold stretch has been so bad. We knew what Walsh had become at the end of the season. And he has shown nothing that his problems are behind him. Our offensive line is such a joke. I see one guy on offense who regularly outperforms his talent and that is Thielen. But it isn't simply the Vikings.....it is the whole professional sports scene in MN. We thought the Vikings had turned the corner and were on a solid trajectory. Now, I am not so sure. The key to an offense, the offensive line, is terrible. Yeah, the T-Wolves are trending upward but how many years of optimism that they actually improve and become competitive. One season, one season and in the playoffs, we have Sam Cassell doing a dance and injuring his back. The Twins.....we have the most formidable rotation in the league in 2006 and Liriano has to have TJ surgery after dominating everyone and Radke ends up with a torn labrum going into the playoffs. Then Hunter tries his spiderman effort on a fly ball that turns into an inside the park homer. The Wild........well we know the North Stars had one helluva roster but left with that talent to bring a Stanley Cup to Dallas. TO DALLAS for CRYING OUT LOUD AS bad as when the Lakers went to LA and with it, all those championships. Why does anyone follow MN professional sports anymore???????????????????????? Burn Down Target Field, Target Center, The Xcel and blow up US Bank Stadium. It will help all MN sports fans in the long run. Totally disagree about Target Field. A great venue. Would be a shame to burn it down, and you know that.
