I give Zimmer 1 more year as long as he cleans house on the offensive side of the ball. New OC with new ideas.

I was willing to give him more time, until the last 2 defensive collapse's and to find out this secondary disobeyed his plan. There is something up. He's lost his team somehow. He's supposed to be the "corner back whisperer" and they bailed on him.

Zimmer is the chick you thought you would marry after 8 weeks together, only to wintness her
go bat shit ****ing crazy, so you bide your time, knowing you have to move on, but too scared
of her psychoness to do it.

Or so I've heard.

Zim lost them with the stuffed animals.

man, yous guys let twins futility color everything.... the omaha beach in SPR youtube vid is your twins coaching staff and bull pen to a "T"... the guy carrying his own arm around is all your starting pitchers... the guys on fire were standing too close to the "mauer mystique"... the rest hiding behind everything only to step out and get shot are the fans..

i have been someplace.. not a good place... i can't talk about it.. but it gave me some perspective.. there is frustration and angst over a poorly performing sports franchise.. but in the end.. it is "just" that...

there are much worse things.

Adrian Peterson made it clear on locker clean out day that he doesn’t believe in the age curve for running backs.

“I know that I have at least seven more years,” Peterson said. “In my mind, I’m thinking if God’s willing, I stay healthy, I’ll play five more. And it’s going to be at a high level. So that’s the way that I envision things going for me when it comes to my career and how I think about it.”

Peterson acknowledged both the possibility that he may have to take a pay cut after this season in order to remain in Minnesota and that he might end up in a different team’s uniform.

“I’m going into this thinking about my guys and wanting to be back with my guys and realizing at the end of the day it is a business,” Peterson said. “I always let the chips fall where they may. I would love to finish my career here, try to help bring a Super Bowl to Minnesota.”

18 mill next year?

... and that's been working out pretty darn well for the Royals.
I remember we ALL loved that contract and gladly would have offered him that kind of money.

This past Sunday.......

Dolphins play Ravens and former WR Mike Wallace today. With 5th-round pick Miami received from Vikings for Wallace, it picked…RB Jay Ajayi.

Another in a longline of WR failures in MN.

Wallace was the first of Zimmers bad decisions. He 'interviewed' him to make sure it was cool. He misjudged that one badly because Wallace passed the interview.

BMore has been smart enough to (if you want to call it that) and not ask him to be a complete WR. They have said "run fast and we'll chuck it to ya" and he's been ok with that. He's basically Ted Ginn with 'ok' hands and less of an attitude.

Yeah. I remember a comment from Matt saying the Royals signed Gordon at a bargain and wished the Twins had pursued him more. I will give Matt a mulligan on this one because he was heavily influenced by another person whose name shall remain in the vault.

Giants should have been up 21-0

If you're going to tell me a guy is going to throw 40 times, often standing in there for ten seconds .... And no holding, huh.
Wow. Must be the greatest OLine in history.
Give me a break.

Giants had em, and quit. Dropped passes, and played into the whole "miracles happen for the glorious Packers" bullshit.

For the first time in my life I'll have to pull for the Cowboys to embarrass someone.
Never thought that would be possible.

Same here.

Ratings Bonanza for Fox.

Announcers will spend the game fawning over both teams. If Aikman can stay objective in a Cowboys game, it would be a first.

William has labeled this one "The Referee's Bowl". How in the world can one team win? Who will the refs favor more??

Rodgers was sacked 5 times. Manning was barely touched most of the game. I guess the Giants got away with holding more than the Packers did.
