This has the potential to really add to the legend of Aaron Rodgers.

Trying to play w/fractured ribs might have a little to do with that.

Ex-Vikes DT Guion is finishing the game for the Packers at Right Guard. THey got nicked up pretty well, today.

From 8-8/5-0 start to Super Bowl next year?

Right, Atlanta did it, so why can't the Vikes

Lotta fixing needs to be done. They're not nearly good enough on offense.

Very strange the infrequency of posts on Talk Vikes lately. Not just the Twins section. Everywhere. Are a lot of people having trouble logging in?

Well, my second favorite NFL team made it again.
And Atnalta doesn't bother me at all.
One of the least stressful SBs of my lifetime coming up.
I need that, after this recent bullshit run of Cavs/Cubs/Royales crap.

Yup. Rooting for Atlanta just because I'm sick of NE but really, could care less. Hoping for a good game.

NE has been, is, and will be ..... An amazing franchise.
What they do with roster and philosophy is the greatest of my lifetime IMO.
The Spurs of the NFL.

Their timing of when to call plays, timeouts, roster cuts, pickups, etc. .........
Is second to none.
I spend every game of theirs wishing we were a tenth as smart.

Love him or hate him Colin Cowherd just had a great piece on the Golden Boy Mike Tomlin. I've never understood the hype on him and piece was about how that franchise always has distractions and how the Patriots don't.

Pretty amazing.

Everybody is on the same page with a common goal. Everybody plays their role, whatever that may be. Last week Dion Lewis was the star of the game. Next game, he barely touches the ball. No crying about playing time, no boasting of personal goals.

Versatile players and a HC that isn't stuck on any type of antiquated philosophy or system. Their philosophy is winning.

We made a list !!!!

Four Teams That May NEVER win a Super Bowl

Just like the Bills, the Minnesota Vikings know a thing or two about coming up short on big stages. Similar to Buffalo, they are 0-4 in Super Bowls — although they haven’t been there since 1976. Throughout their history, though, the Vikings have been a competitive team. They’ve never gone more than four seasons without a playoff appearance and have reached the conference championship weekend five times since their last Super Bowl defeat.

Of course, Minnesota is 0-5 with a trip to the big game on the line, showcasing their misfortune as a franchise since 1976. The current Vikings look solid. A promising young QB in Teddy Bridgewater leads an offense that features one of the best running backs in history in Adrian Peterson. With a dominant defense (at times) as well, this is probably the best shot that the team has had to win a Super Bowl in a long time.

However, something tells us that they won’t reach that level while this roster is still intact. A tough NFC should make the Vikings a mere early-round playoff team — nothing more than a fringe contender. Once the likes of Peterson retire, it will be a rebuilding bonanza in Minnesota, which is never conducive to winning a championship.

That's one thing I disagree with.

Peterson being out all year had very little to do with the team falling apart.

I put the majority of the blame on a horse-crap offensive line and the coaches that didn't get it done there.

Not running the ball when at NE 23 and not running the clock down and kicking a FG--the ran plays at 10-15 seconds left on the play clock. Big mistakes.

Just ask...they'd be 0 for 4 their last 4 SB's if the Hawks had of run Lynch. Except...

5/7 is one hell of a feat. I kept watching NE's offense and I thought - no way...they're missing pieces. Yet they plugged away and never surrendered. The game had me bored then it turned into the most amazing thing ever. 2 TD's and 2 two pointers with the Championship on the line. Was a sight to see.

Agree with the GOAT calls. No question.

They literally passed on taking a championship home. I'm surprised to not hear more on this. Shit happens in a game. This was a choice and it cost them everything.

Didn't mean to come off as an eastern asshole, but was tired of my surrounding community always whining about greatness.
In truth when it was ugly for NE, I was ok with Atnalta.
And in truth .... Was amazed at how much mugging was being allowed by the Atl defense.
NE didn't bitch, they didn't cry, they started attacking.
Love watching their coaches.
While Atls were celebrating, the NE coaches were taking notes on what was working and what was killing them.
Just really believe winning is a mindset and NE and the Spurs and a couple baseball teams have that figured out.
The rest of us attribute it to other things. Winners win.
