And SOME in the media are trying to create stuff too.

There is no QB controversy. NONE

Saw where Gus Frerotte was getting some attention from the past similar situation.

Wade Wilson did same thing.

Enjoy Keenum. He's doing what the offense needs to. Make decisions. Not all of them great, but lady luck is smiling.

Love his movement to make things happen. The 15 yard run in the first half? That stuff gets the teammates behind you. Diving head first vs slide.

That fake he made to get open then leaping for a catch

And the speed on the TD

Guy is having fun. The end zone celly failed. That's ok, too.

Next time go into the crowd in a homer TD. They eat that up.

Still loved his soccer celebration in England the best.

Buffalos back-up threw 5 INTS BEFORE THE HALF and lost
Green Bays back-up threw 4 INTS and has sucked and they lost again
Ours throws TDs, make yards, and wins.

Thielen is unbelievable. My #1 gift wish is a Thielen jersey, in case anyone needs ideas.

Case is the guy. I like Teddy but you can't mess with success. He's been "Pipped", for now anyway.

Gotta give some props to old man Newman too. He made a few big plays. Love that he can still make an impact at his age.

Love how we're taking care of the ball.

Kicking game needs to solidify.

The play calling is LIGHT YEARS ahead of where it was
Sure, you still have some head-scratchers, but everyone does.
At least we don't play for FGs every time, or think we have enough and play conservatively too early
Loved how we kept throwing to MOVE THE CHAINS late.

That was an oh shiiii... YES! moment in my house. When he chucked that up I thought for sure it would be a pick. Glad I was wrong.

Good comments guys. Did you love how the refs got back at Barr for taking Erin out? Same hit and NOW it's a penalty. Got it \

You watch. He's now a marked man. Every little thing he does is gonna get called. Hell, Kendricks did the same thing later and it was deemed legit.

It was amazing that he could throw that so well with a horseshoe up his ass. I don't know if he really saw Theilen or just got away with one. At first glance it looked like the quintessential stupid play, great result. When I saw the replay a few times, it looked like he had his eyes down field and on a receiver. Who knows? I also noticed on the replay that somebody got away with a pretty hard head slap on Keenum before the throw.

The one I thought Case really got away with one was the completion to Rudolph in triple coverage. That ball was literally about to hit a defender in the back of the helmet when Rudolph snagged it.

Especially when there was a non call on Keenum's miracle throw. Defender ran by and smacked him squarely on the helmet before the throw. That's supposed to be an automatic.

I posted this yesterday on Game Day......I think everyone is too young to remember this game. I remember it as if it were yesterday. One of the sweetest wins in Detroit, ever.

https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/196911270det.htm

Nov 1969. Vikings in Detroit for annual thanksgiving game. Vikings win 27-0. Never forget the fumble recovery which was lateraled to Alan Page and he ran it in for the score.

How about a game like that this upcoming week?

Go Vikings.

Never saw the game, but saw that play during an NFL Films presentation of the 69 Vikes. Joe Kapp and Company.

We were up in arms over both of those calls. And yes, Barr got the flag for it thanks to his Rodgers' hit.
The head snap of Goff got the flag thrown as much as anything. The ref threw it. He couldn't even see where Barr hit him.

Kendricks unloaded and took the wind out of Goff. Since it was lower it was a legal play.

Such inconsistencies. D players must go nuts trying to control their attacks at times. I saw a couple games where the back got stopped lifted and spiked.
That's apparently only a penalty when it is a QB.

One of my favorite memories of childhood, watching that one.
Its changed so much.
Back then, every family member was glued to the crappy little TV screen.
Now its all over the room, and no one pays much attention, other than me and a couple other old farts.

I'm as big a Teddy booster as there is and I can't see any logic in changing it up right now. With Case starting, they are moving the ball through the air, they are scoring points, they are winning a lot of games. There has been no shortage of "holy shit Case got away with one" moments, but it is working right now and you don't mess with what's working. Keenum is out performing his entire career by a huge margin right now. Can he sustain it? I don't know, but at this point you have to go with him until he shows he can't.

Yup. Case's horseshoe could come out at anytime, but until it does you ride the hot hand. I keep with him on a game by game basis for this year. The $1 Million question is who is our QB next year. I'm going to put that one off and enjoy Case for the moment.
