ORIGINAL: Mr. Ed Here’s a the history of Vikings drafting https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/min/draft.htm Last 10 years 2010: 2-7th 2011: 4-6th, 2-7 2012: 2-7 2013: 3-7 2014: 2-6, 3-7 2015 2-5, 2-6, 2-7 2016: 2-6, 2-7 2017: 4-7 2018: 2-5, 2-6 2019: 3-6, 4-7 Sixth round: 15 Seventh round: 24 I bet that’s tops Obsessed with late rounds And who’s contributed? Sixth round Joe Webb Brandon Fusco Blair Walsh Seventh Jayron Kearse StepHen Weatherly Both 2016 The track record overall is not very good but he has the Wifs fooled. Have taken 3 total lineman in the top three rounds in the last three, one each year Before 2017? One Khalil in 2012 In the last 10 years. And of those four O’Neill is decent Bradbury is incomplete Khalil briefly good; more bad than good Elflein terrible Idk how he keeps a job with a track record like that. Yes we have had more late picks than most, however in the compensatory pick age we are in there are going to be lots of 6th and 7th round picks. Last year IMO Spielman played it almost perfectly. Prior years I wish he had just used our original picks. For example we should not have traded back and drafted Conklin, but taken the TE drafted just before Conklin. However, I forget that guys name now so he hasn't been too special.
