I watched about half of season 1. After being amused at some early episodes I decided that it blows and quit watching. I think if I tried binge watching, I would probably hang myself. From what I have heard of the finale, it is a true WTF television moment.

It's the first show I've ever binge watched. Thank goodness for the fast forward button, because it's needed at times.

Some say the worst series finale of all time. The show's loyal followers were furious and heart broken. Watch the show for nine years only to have your heart ripped out in the end.

"The Mentalist" was one of my favorite shows until the writers somehow managed to screw up the whole Red John thing.

Another great guess, but incorrect.

The answer is.... Drum roll..... Frank Viola.

Marshall calls a radio talk show and Frank Viola's on the show. (And it actually is Frank Viola talking).

Eric Show.

And that dude IIRC committed suicide or overdosed on drugs about 7 or 8 years later.

Wow, had just done a search myself and read that same article you posted. Sounds like he was badly abused by his father much like Patrick O'Sullivan of the Wild. Ruined his life. So sad.

Yes 417 wins. 8 seasons of 25 or more wins topping out at 36. I moved to Minnesota in 1968 and quickly became a fan. Kind of a shame that the Twins had to be born out of the ashes of the Washington Senators. What a history that team had.
EDIT: I know the franchise was not successful but they were a charter Member of the American league and did win a world series in 1924.
