Matt, I think you assume that failure to reply to your posts in a quick manner is due to indifference among all posters regarding your posts. That is only true for Sweens (and Ed, and SMF, and Murf, and Ralph, and Mark, and Kerry, and Lyle, and Steve and Phil and .............about everyone else.)

It was more a tribute to Matt's favorite Wings episode. I was waiting for him to come back with no, Ida Lupino.

Was flipping thru and ran across a Wings episode the other night
Forgot how much I loved that show.
5 or 6 awesome comedic actors and actresses
Highly underrated

I'd swear we have a couple "Roys" in here

Roy Biggins was one of the great unsung sitcom characters.

My mom is right down the road at that old folks home - or as I like to call it, "Seizures Palace."

Who is the only player to win a batting title in one league while playing in the other league?

The answer is Willie McGee. 1990 NL batting champ, but a member of the AL's Oakland A's.

McGee's brief stint with Oakland, managed by Tony La Russa, helped propel the team to the 1990 World Series. This would be McGee's fourth trip to the Fall Classic; the Athletics however were pounded in the Series as the Cincinnati Reds would sweep the defending champions in four games. Despite being traded to the AL, McGee had already accumulated 542 plate appearances in the National League, enough for him to qualify for the NL batting crown. Los Angeles' Eddie Murray (.330 average), the New York Mets' Dave Magadan (.328) and others gave chase, but as none were able to catch McGee's .335 NL batting mark, he won his second batting title. McGee's accomplishment marked an odd first in major league history, in which the batting champion for one league ended the season as a member of the other league.

Combined McGee had the 6th highest batting average in baseball, despite winning the NL title.

At 27.2 yards, who holds the all-time NFL record for average distance of his touchdown runs?
