Big league club is in the tank, and Ryan is working the bargain bin

The #MNTwins have signed OF Robbie Grossman and assigned him to @RocRedWings. Spent parts of 3 seasons with Houston from 2013-15.

How did Milone find his way "off" the 40-man roster? The Twins certainly do not have the luxury of removing a seasoned ML player from their roster when they have so many inexperienced and non-ML players above Milone. This makes zero sense to me.

he was put on waivers. It happens. No one wanted him, so he took his assignment at AAA.

He did this so he didn't lose any of the millions he's making this year.

Doesn't take much in a game just to put the ball in play.

Arcia's walkoff hit was proof of that.

But then he also had a walkoff dinger, so whatever is inside that melon just cannot get off the long loopy swing.

And having to hit it 2 miles, when 400 feet normally suffices.

And he's not alone.

Unfortunately the Twins are cycling through a lot of great year 1 players who regress in year 2. We learned with the illustrious class of 82 that it takes a few years for these guys to become consistent and winners.
