ORIGINAL: McMurfy Rosario, while always in the discussion, is kind of the afterthought in the Sano/Buxton/Meyer bright future discussions. Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he turns out to be the best of the 4 players by reaching his full potential while the others don't. You know the Twins love Dozier. If the Twins have their sights on Dozier long term then Rosario makes a good trade piece. Frankly, it might be better the other way around. Trade Dozier But you are right. I am getting weary of all the hype about Sano/Buxton/Meyer. A couple of years ago people were talking about these guys helping to make us contenders in 2015 meanwhile not one of them have played a major league game yet. Is the assumption they'll get here and instantly be superstars? I'm just not seeing it right now I think Rosario is a guy that will have the Twins kicking themselves if they were to trade him. We are finally getting some hitting prospects on the level of Justin Morneau when he was a prospect reaching the top levels of the system. I really would rather use them as a nucleus than trade them. Ultimately Rosario is the guy that winds up making someone like Hicks or Arcia available, IMO.
