The streak reaches 13 with a 7-0 win. Twins pitchers have set a team record for consecutive shutout innings at 33. Zebby Matthews will try to extend it tomorrow in his first start.

Now Buck has joined Correa on the IL. The Twins called up 6'8" OF Carson McCusker to replace him. He was hitting. 350 with 10 HR and a 1.061 OPS for the Saints.

33 straight innings without giving up a run? That's a crazy number. Never heard of anything like that, not even during the Glavine-Smoltz-Maddux era.

I wish we could play the Orioles and Brewers all season.

I saw Joe Ryan interviewed during the game yesterday. He was asked to compare last year's 12 winning streak to this year's. According to Ryan, last year was more about the other teams making key mistakes to lose games. This year is more a case of the Twins playing good baseball.
