I get that means bery little.

I thought you would get the just of it....w/o going into details. It was a reference to the greats not saying he is there already. Same as Dante.....the hope was there with Dante but not the finish to create the history. JJM has to create the history part of it. Good start but lot more to do.

Two posts in a row... maybe learn to spell Daunte if you keep referencing him.

Not to mention... get the just of it? Send that low-IQer back to 5th grade!

Maybe find some of your own content to post. Really bad at needling after someone else posts content.

Yes you are, but don't sell yourself short.

I'm jest needling you. Jest saying.

The MVP on Monday Night was Brian Flores. His defense nearly pitched a shutout in the second half. It afforded the offense time to rebound from three quarters of complete incompetence.

The defense was not good in the first half. If it wasn't for the Bears incessantly shooting themselves in the foot, they could have been up by a couple of TDs at the half.

Williams also missed a wide open DJ Moore for the dagger.

Yep. Way too many receivers running loose the whole game. Flores made the key adjustment in the second half by going to a contain rush. When Williams was forced to stay in the pocket and make decisions, he was terrible. Where the game slowed down for McCarthy, it sped up for Williams.

Back end needs some new players. If we really want to compete for a SB.

Nooo.nooo. I have been repeatedly told the Harrison Smith is gonna fix everything…

We don’t need anyone else to ever cover the middle seams or quick slants on blitzing plays.. ever..

I don't think the safeties need as much help as the corners. It would be nice if Samuel Jr. got a clean bill of health and signed with us.

Wilson's FA signing went a bit under the radar but looks like a great decision.

Dude might be the least "Diva" superstar WR I can remember seeing.

Justin Jefferson took responsibility for J.J. McCarthy’s interception on Monday night, saying he needed to take two more steps before breaking on the route. “J.J. wasn't ready for me to be out that soon. That's why the ball was thrown inside of me, where it needed to be outside. So it’s mostly on me, on that play. I'm just happy that J.J. really didn't think about it too much. J.J. was on to the next play.”

Good stuff. Amazing how small things can mess up a play like the timing of a man in motion. And he shows why it messed up things. Also never noticed an OL stepped on JJM's foot while throwing one of his TD passes. Or that Oliver tripped over the RG who was being pushed back during the failed two-point conversion (not suggesting Oliver would have made the conversion).

Skule could be facing an edge-sized DE.

Time for Turner to step up.

Okudah himself being out is not a big deal but are they down to three CBs? Roll with Ward and/or call up one from the PS?

For sure. It didnt seem from the breakdown, that much of the ineffectivess was deer in the headlight indecisiveness. In fact, there were some solid non-throws … compared to Darnold’s freezing up non-throws with WRs running open. Or worse, looping backwards in gigantic circles out of pocket. I’ll take the McCarthy 2 yd trip and flip over that any day.

To my eye, the pick 6 was a bad decision … I know Jefferson is trying to cover that … regardless, its encouraging to field a young dude with his head in a game. The rookie mistakes will continue but, hopefully, the jittery confounding veteran meltdown stuff, the throwing short of the sticks to end the game / basic survival stuff - will be left in the past.
