While I agree that Denver made a GREAT signing with Manning, I disagree and think the Jets made a good signing with Tebow.

While you can say Tebow was lucky with one pass against Pittsburgh, there were many passes where it was more a good throw than luck involved in them scoring. While I hate the idea that God might prefer one team or player over another, and someone like Tebow is saying that God picked him when he acts out, I still believe Tebow can be clutch and is good at getting the most out of his teammates.

Unless Sanchez's fire has been lit, I expect Tebow to be starting in NY by midseason, and will have them in the playoffs, possibly making a playoff run.

Flynn is another backup QB with all the hype.

If he can't beat out a 3rd rd pick Carroll effed up again.

Flynn, Kolb, and Cassell can all break bread with Scott Mitchell

The guy whom actually looks like he could turn out to be good once given the chance is Ryan Mallett

But all through OTAs minicamp and preseason, he's shown poise, a strong arm, accurate arm, and mobility. He works hard.

And give the kid a few games against top defenses and they start figuring him out and he probably wont play that well and Flynn will be there ready to take the reins.

It should be noted that most scouts state the only reason Wilson fell to the third round was his height. A shade under 5'11". If he were 6'1" or so he probably would have been drafted top ten.

Seattle didn't make a mistake in signing Flynn. and he didn't make a mistake signing there. Seattle may have just gotten lucky and plucked up the steal of the draft. But it's really too early to tell that yet.

I'm giddy about Wilson winning the spot ...for a sick and twisted reason ....
It hopefully grinds some Bucky Badger fans that they maybe should have had a better season last year.
(yeah, that's a pretty pathetic grab at feeling better about our miserable team, I know).

I can't hate on Seattle too much in terms of QB choices. After all, they gave up on TJack after one year. We worked that project for six.

Flynn has been in the league for 4 years, Ponder one abbreviated season. Truth? Honesty? Flynn was the much ballyhooed backup QB from Green Bay. Ponder is "our" QB. What's weird is how the subjectivity among many hereabouts trends so strongly against the home team.

Detroit loses against SF, Vikes beat the Colts and are all alone atop the division. Entirely possible.

I think if the Vikes win at the Colts, looking at the schedule, they really COULD be 9-1 and leading the division at the bye.
