I guess there will be no shortage of posts now that we lost. It doesn't feel like we have won a close game yet this year. We either win decisively or we lose. Something missing in mental toughness. It sure would help if our quarterback could manufacture a first down once in a while with his feet. Nevertheless he had three TD passes, I don't know what to say. The chiefs had more big plays.

Either Zimmer cant teach corners or Waynes can't grasp his teachings. Hes so terrible when the ball is in the air. He looks like a college freshman just learning the position wrt playing the ball. The shame of it is he would be amazing if he knew how to turn the head and track the ball!

Over and over he is glued to the receiver, yet almost never makes a play on the ball. Either Zimmer has him overcoached to avoid going for turnovers, or he has Troy Williamson's vision/ball awareness.

Pass on first down when you've got a clock possession, run on 2nd and 10, run on 3rd and 13
very curious

Arif Hasan, but spooky@ArifHasanNFL
Mackensie Alexander on Travis Kelce for some reason, gets them in field goal range. Good coverage but they are like a foot apart in height so

Sean Borman

2/3rd’s of the #Vikings losses have been to backup QB’s

haha you beat me to it!

I'm getting sick of the whole "that was a great play by the receiver" thing. BS! It's terrible defense! All he has to do is be able to turn his head and hes got like 12 ints a year. Of course teams know he cant so they throw deep balls his way knowing at worst its incomplete. More probable is a catch or PI.

Exactly.

Now Jamarcus Winston and the Hoiseths are beating the PED hawks and fudge and Erin are behind (for now).

I'd like to both 29 and 26 demoted for a game or more.

Bill Johanesen -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/3/2019 4:40:00 PM)

Close game that came down to the wire. All three phases faltered down the stretch. And in the game within a game, we made a couple of good defensive plays yet KC came back on them.

When they lined up for the 54 yard FG, I was recalling that post from a couple of months ago... since whenever, teams have made the highest % of 50+ FGs against US. Knew it was going to be good. Bailey's extra point miss was a pisser.

Ricky J -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/3/2019 4:57:28 PM)

Damn. That was a winnable game.

That's like 66%

This team has ignored the d line for years in the draft, instead wasting picks on overrated corners

We see this team time and time again having large stretches with no pressure on the QBs

They finally got pressure when they blitzed today

Defense starts up front. Ask San Francisco

With any luck we'll be able to draft top 10 every year for the next 10 or so and build ours up.

Arlowe84 -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/3/2019 5:09:22 PM)

Bottom line is our all 1st round CB trio has been a waste

How many INTs have they had this year?
The last 2 years?

Defense starts up front

Ragnarök -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/3/2019 5:10:23 PM)

Zimmer: It Was A Game of Big Plays and They Made More Than We Did

Genius observation by our HC

When was the last time it felt like out coacing staff watched current tape on another team and game planned/ schemed according to a weakness or exploit a weakness recently exposed?

Did he say “we have to tighten up the coverage”. That’s my favorite he always goes to

Hey dillweed these are your hand picked guys

His vaunted defense just lost to Matt Moore. He should never be able to live that down lol

Ricky J -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/3/2019 5:19:59 PM)

Oh my!

I've decided I'm not going to jump. I think we'll be ok

Seeing SD up on GB 19-0 towards the end of the 3rd kind of pisses me off we let an opportunity get by, though - hang in there SD

Both lines have been neglected for the most part. If you can dominate the LOS you'll win more often than not.

Ragnarök -> RE: General Vikes Talk (11/3/2019 5:27:27 PM)

The media is starting to make fun of all the "Zimmerisms"

This team is so frustrating and yet so predictible in just how and when they will faulter.

In the third quarter its just so easy to draw up several scripts in ones head of how the Vikes can blow the game and then watch as it all comes true...

Groundhog Day all over again...

Bingo

Granted we had other parts of the team to clean up, but I’m starting to see the signs of a neglected D line
Got lucky with Hunter.

I cant believe we lost to a team with a terrible defense and a qb named Matt Moore! Ouch! We gotta get the next game. However I think it's going to take 31 points from the offense to do it.

It's in Dallas, inside, on turf. We'll do better.

But it’s also prime time. We all know our record there!

Erin Rodgers 11/19 61 yards no magic from the Puke today

Love the agressiveness of the Chargers today, but we get them shortly as well in LA...

Chargers doing us a solid. Packers lose another home game. [&:]
