I saw Lewis play four times this spring. I'll say his defense looks really, really good. He made a few plays that bordered on spectacular. I hope his off season work with a hitting coach pays off. His swing wasn't there in the early going, but he did finish with a home run. My take on him is there is too much talent, dedication and work ethic to not succeed as long as he doesn't get derailed by injuries again.

You know I am not talking about a salary cap. Look up what the total is on the field. If they spent more it still didn’t make sense to resign him. The other point is they wanted to trade Larnach and couldn’t find a partner. He is at best an avg hitter and a below avg fielder that is also a strong side platoon.

Well Shelton has made history. Ejected for arguing an ABS call. Actually I think he was not arguing the call itself. He was saying they didn't signal for the challenge soon enough. But he will still get notoriety for it.
