Should we beat GB Saturday, on the road, in 20 degrees against a seasoned playoff opponent? Probably not.

Prescott - So you're saying we could win if Adrian Peterson goes down, and if Toby goes down, and if Ponder goes down, and if Frazier gets sick and can't be there, and if Kalil goes down.

If Kalil goes down, it's over. The OL consistency is main factor that gives me confidence in the offense being able to win with Toby. The OL has been healthy all year. That's a big reason for 10-6 and 2097.

So for whatever reason, it struck you that if Adrian Peterson gets hurt, we can win with Toby, but if Schwartz or Berger has to play, we have no chance to win? Pretty strange thought process, but whatever, it's a prediction thread.

Depends if you're talking the vegas line or the home team. But last year every home team won in the first round. Prior to that, at least 2 road team (sometimes 3) had won for 4 years in a row.

I will say this though ... if #69 can have a GAME ... I wouldn't be shocked at a win for us.
A couple/three sacks and lots of pressures ... fumble ... something.
I think the game rests on the D this week .. not AD.

Don't know. That's why they play the games.

I don't know that either team has any significant advantage in terms of playing in cold weather.

Ponder has never played in anything but almost perfect conditions. But if it's just cold (not windy or snow) that shouldn't bother him.

The WR's may drop a few more balls, that probably doesn't favor us.

Peterson doesn't seem to have any problem with the long grass, but it sure seems to slow down some of our pass rushers. Mild winter so far, field should be in good shape.

Put me down in the "if AD goes down, we can still win with Toby" camp. Bigtime. Here's why:

Toby is not going to juke and jive his way into losses. Ever. He's good for 3-4 yards, reliably, and sometimes more. But he's fast enough to run off tackle, which is what will be needed against their fatties in the middle. He's also a better receiver and a better blocker than Peterson. Much better.

We can "thunder & lightning" them better with a bruising Gerhardt and a scatback like Wright, also. If AD can pound 'em for a couple of quarters before going down, I can see us eating the clock with Toby & Jarius, plus a little Ponder of course, on the ground. The occasional first down flip to Jenkins or Rudolph could be enough to do 'em in here in Cheeseland.

I'd prefer a slow track on Saturday night. We are by far the more physical team, especially if Winfield can go. The uglier the weather, the tougher it'll be on the home crowd and the passing game of GB. We've got a shot, and if AD goes down for any reason, I'm still expecting good things.
