It's true. Favre is the cover boy.

Good News then...it isn't Adrian Peterson on the cover!!!  No Madden curse for us!  YAY!

Tim Cady -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/26/2008 12:21:23 AM)

Watch him get hurt mowing his lawn.[:-]

Steve Archer -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/26/2008 8:22:03 AM)

Maybe they could hire Farve to do SNF with Madden.  I'm sure Madden would love that.

Guest -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/26/2008 8:27:52 AM)

I would have to put ice picks thru my eardrums.....

Steve Archer -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/26/2008 8:40:49 AM)

I hear you Dan.  [sm=vomit.gif]

Duane Sampson -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/27/2008 12:39:16 PM)

I watched about 45 seconds of that.  She's got to be mentally ill.

Mark Duda -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/29/2008 12:57:12 AM)

I couldn't even get 10 seconds into that and it was making me sick.  That woman is clearly disturbed.

Todd M -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/29/2008 7:24:33 AM)

Two people had to say she was disturbed or mentally ill before it peaked my interest. [&:]

I'd wear a #4 jersey and let her sing to me if you know what I mean....[:'(] (hypothetically)

If you guy's gave up on it you missed the big pot bellied cheese head dancing around...classic!

It actually wasn't half bad considering...better than Brady...

She seems to prefer a cardboard cutout ... if you know what I mean.

The fact that she gets so romantically involved with a piece of cardboard is much of what makes me conclude she's mentally ill.

Todd M -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/29/2008 10:00:45 AM)

I thought you guys were playing it up a bit because it was Brett Favre.

Lynn G. -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/29/2008 10:24:59 AM)

Not for me.  For me the disturbing thing was that she was so taken with a really bad picture pasted onto cardboard.  VERY strange.

It's a music video Lynn, keep that in mind. [:'(]

Lynn G. -> RE: RE:The Packers (4/29/2008 10:41:57 AM)

Shoot.  I'd rather think she's just a complete sicko.

Anyway - I'm out of here for two whole days.  Make do without me.

Well at least we know she definitely deletes comments that she doesn't approve of. I left a comment recommending intense therapy for her obvious mental problems and she deleted it within a half hour.[image]http://talkvikes.gorge.net/upfiles/smiley/shrug.gif[/image]

I guess that explains the lack of negative comments on the vid.

Duane Sampson -> RE: RE:The Packers (5/1/2008 6:35:38 AM)

hmmm.... I didn't know you could edit comments on your youtube videos.

Lame.

If you had to go to Wisconsin would you spend two whole days?  [;)]

We left Tuesday morning at about 11 a.m. and arrived home Wednesday night at about 7 p.m.   A quickie, as they say.

Well, If I were taking my boys to the Dells...yes I would.  Otherwise, Not in a million years.  The Packer love would make me queasy.

Lynn G. -> RE: RE:The Packers (5/1/2008 7:56:58 AM)

I'm actually kind of exaggerating for fun.  Wisconsin and Minnesota are so similar with regard to lifestyle and topography and quality of people - I always enjoy my visits.  I consciously avoid any discussion of football when I'm there, which means I don't hear much of the slurping.

I actually have friends that live in the Milwaukee area, and even when my friend and I discuss football it doesn't get intense or anything...

I was exaggerating too.  I actually like Wisconsin, once you get past the Packer love that is.

Packers Roster Update - Koren Robinson Could be Cut
Thu May 1, 2008

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports the Packers have 13 wide receivers on their 80-man roster, and GM Ted Thompson couldn't say definitely that there would be room much longer for WR Koren Robinson. "We're still kind of working through our roster," Thompson said. "We're not letting anybody go. We'll see how it works itself out." Robinson, 28, played 196 snaps in nine regular-season games. Counting playoffs, he caught 25 passes for 257 yards (10.3) and one touchdown. A favorite of Brett Favre, Robinson has a bone-on-bone knee problem that probably isn't going to go away. Robinson was in Green Bay earlier in the week but has been working out back home in North Carolina, not with his teammates, since the off-season program for veterans began March 31. "Sometimes they have legitimate reasons why they're not here," Thompson said. "And I want to say his was a fairly legitimate reason. I just don't specifically remember what it was." Meanwhile, two veterans without contracts, TE Ryan Krause and C Tyson Walter, won't return, Thompson indicated.
