Very pleased the Yanks aren't fading.
Much better season than most anticipated so far.

Smoke and mirrors, I'm afraid. That and a good manager.

Sabathia is done. Diminishing velocity, and never really learned to pitch without it.

Hehe
Read my mind

Great manager, but a paper thin staff right now

Something about confidence and the highest of expectations. On paper, not good. Somehow they scrap and grind out a good 1st half.

Very familiar

And just when I was about to brag on Betances, Phillies dinged him good.

#Marlins with Redmond: 16-22

Let's make some deals

Jonah Keri says the Blue Jays, Nationals and Dodgers are poised to make some big moves at the trade deadline, while the Brewers and Reds are potential sellers with some veteran assets to trade.

Have fun, everyone else's fans ....
Signed,
The Tire Kickin Twins

Currently tied for the Wild Card in the AL

With gaping holes in the bullpen and lineup.

Add a couple of pieces.

Not types like Bret Boone, REAL help.

Nats, A's, Cards ...... on fi ,,,,,,,,,, yar
Mets hitting the skids.
Just feels like this is going to be one helluva year right down to the wire.
Nightly walk-offs galore, great individual performances regularly ... loving it.
Would be fun to see the Twins stay involved.

Not satisfied team

The Royals are looking at second base, the starting rotation and right field as potential areas to upgrade via the trade market

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
You're supposed to sit on your dead ass and HOPE you get better once you are a playoff team.

Those are 2 areas, re-signing at 2nd and Rios signing, that they're looking to upgrade further.

Moore does get it. They have a great core, and the window is as wide open now as it's going to be.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 1:02:52 PM)

Good for them
Because there's nothing sadder for a fan base, than having a window slam shut on you.
We know. Lord, we know.

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 1:38:17 PM)

Yanks get better with Ivan Nova being activated.

Hope that works out when Erv joins the Twins.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 1:38:50 PM)

Great stuff today on Curt Flood.
One of the most influential dudes in the entire history of baseball.
And highly underrated as a player.
The average MLB salary today is $4mil. They all owe him a cut.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 1:40:05 PM)

Excited about Ervs return
It feels like we made a trade.

Ok

That's it. I'm ashamed of myself even.
Going to shower.

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 4:43:31 PM)

Ryne Sandberg announced Friday afternoon that he is stepping down in Philadelphia, leaving the team as it struggles with the worst record in baseball.

djskillz -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 5:18:06 PM)

It's always about Ryne. Chump move IMO.

Stacey King -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 5:46:53 PM)

They should hire Gardy ..

then it would be hilarious to watch him try to bully the local beat writers just one time during one of his don't question me/look what i have to work with post game pressers.

they'd be ALL over him so fast calling his moves out within a week or two he wouldn't know what hit him.

djskillz -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 5:58:56 PM)

Gardenhire in Philadelphia...

oh man, the sitcom possibilities.

(possibly a murder mystery sequel as well)

Tougher player than coach.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/26/2015 9:23:38 PM)

O's playing very well.
Hardys return helped them.
Kipnis keeps the streak going.
Indians a frustrating bunch.
Klubers had some nice outings, yet has nine losses already.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/28/2015 8:45:14 PM)

O's keep Rollin

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (6/28/2015 8:46:06 PM)

Mets latest wunderkind pitcher starts well.

Can MN ever develop a pitcher? Good grief. Mets roll one out monthly.
