Losing Russell Martin was a very significant loss for NYY. Very underrated move for PIT.

Very happy for the Pirates.

I thought Hurdle would get the boot there. He got a lot out of guys. Pirates in the playoffs takes me back to the 60s/70s(screw the Leyland years)

Should they be in on it if Price becomes availabe?  Yes. 

Will they be?  No.

Should they miraculously get him...what will happen?  He'll be Rick Andersoned.  He'll have all his strenghths stripped away and he'll look like another version of pre-Pittsburgh Liriano.

Progressive Field looks like a fun place to be tonight. I really wish we could have an atmosphere like that in Target Field. I've been to one postseason game at TF and it was dead as a doorknob in there.

Must be the "Minnesota Nice" thingy Ed.
If I had my way, we would be seeing a complete new coaching staff, keeping Steinbach and Cuellar only....need some new blood and baseball insight as long as we are starting from scratch again.....again!!

As long as we dropping some guys, TR and the Pohlads need to go also.
Wish Mark Cuban would invest in the AL Twins....we would see lots of changes!!!
