Dick Bremer Twittered on Sept 30:

Stunned! In Delmon Young's three at bats, he's already seen three pitches!

Dick didn't post about Delmon last night.

Rangers lost out on playoffs tie-breaker. Will not bring back 2 of their coaches.

You can do that???

Must be the "Minnesota Nice" thingy Ed.
If I had my way, we would be seeing a complete new coaching staff, keeping Steinbach and Cuellar only....need some new blood and baseball insight as long as we are starting from scratch again.....again!!

As long as we dropping some guys, TR and the Pohlads need to go also.
Wish Mark Cuban would invest in the AL Twins....we would see lots of changes!!!

Cuban's too busy with his insider trading accusations.

Bremer doesn't know his first name.

The Indians deserved to lose -- did you see the fans in red face? I can't believe they let them into the stadium.

Dusty Baker 90-72 record and playoffs w/ Reds this year.

Fired.

Well duh.

He didn't lose 291 games over the last three seasons.  If he'd have done that, they would have given him a 2 year extention.

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (10/4/2013 8:36:56 AM)

Word filtered around last night that Dusty Baker was out. Players heard early, and while they like Dusty, they think it was the right move.

Stacey King -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (10/4/2013 8:37:05 AM)

GM didn't get Dusty good enough players.

Dusty should have had a lifetime pass since he got them to the play-offs 3 of the past 4 years.

What do those fans expect?

Fans wanted a scapegoat and the ownership caved.

Disgusting.

The type of thing that "will never happen" in Twins Nation!!

Score one for reckless talent (Puig) over unwritten-rule "leadership" (McCann) last night.

RandBall: Firing Dusty Baker akin to firing Gardy in 2010

Agreed.

And w/this Tweet:

There is nothing I hate more in baseball than the braves chant. It was old in 1991.

Yep.

I felt bad about this in Atlanta.  They did the chant while we were there.  My wife thought it was cool.  Minnesotans should not like that chant and should not like the Braves.  Our friend in Atlanta has adopted the Twins as his 2nd favorite team because of us and we went to a game with him at Target Field a few years ago.  I should have been rooting for the Braves at the Braves-Marlins game, but I could not do it.

Which still would've been 4 years too late.

How did McCann not get fined for blocking the plate against Gomez on a HR?

It should have been a 15 yard penalty.

Can't believe the Brewers' manager didn't throw the challenge flag.

jimbo -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (10/4/2013 5:19:11 PM)

Make it to the playoffs get fired.

Lose 291 in three years keep the jackass!

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (10/4/2013 8:19:26 PM)

Matt Harvey's "rehab" is done. TJ surgery. Should have done it sooner and gotten it over with.

Very rarely does a rehab attempt work.

twinsfan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (10/5/2013 9:25:39 PM)

The A's have had about the same amount of success in the postseason as the Twins over the last dozen years. A's teams not built for postseason? Proof Joe Morgan knows something we don't?

Boy, who could have seen that coming? Man, the Mets training staff is about as qualified as the Twins, by the sound of it.
