Looks like it would reset his HOF clock:

He's got that great shape going again, ya know, looks like he could still play ....
Or
Could be a sheet of plywood
Either or.

Going to say it again
That's the dumbest and creepiest ad campaign ever

"Pay no attention to your eyes, here's what you're seeing, people"

I wonder if I put the time in if I could make a run at a professional baseball career late in life. Heck, I might even be a slappy hitter like Zach Granite and fans like Matt may actually want my autograph.

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/8/2018 2:26:54 PM)

Hey, I'm about 65 pounds over my playing weight, so Big Frank and I might be in the same boat!
Maybe that's what people are whispering when I walk past ....

As Brian Regan says .... People don't whisper compliments, dumbass. 😀

SoMnFan -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/13/2018 11:30:50 PM)

Adrian Gonzalez to the Mets.

Should be a Twin.

Losers

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/15/2018 6:54:29 PM)

Pitcher in MLB's top 100 and a Class A 2nd Baseman.
Plus 500K international signing
And 2.5 mill of the salary

Good Grief

MN could have easily matched that.

Kepler can't hit lefties. So we'll throw Robbie EFFING Grossman out there.

And DH the weenie bat far too much.

Effing losers.

At least he went to a real team who cares about the big prize.
Good on him.
They'll love him
Woulda been an awesome fit here too.
But some just won't let go of old habits.

Blue Jays sign Curtis Granderson
Not sure if they got a Senior Discount on him.

How old is Granderson? He must be at least 38-39.

Granderson will be 37 years old March 16th. He may have a couple of good seasons left in him.

Josh Harrison wants out of Pittsburgh now.
Darn, too bad we are so loaded.
No room for better players, sorry.

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/16/2018 9:30:31 PM)

The Pirates Could Have Been Contenders, but Ownership Cried Poverty and Betrayed Their Fans

Pirates owner Bob Nutting never sprung for a major free agent while his team had one of the best cores in baseball. Now, the billionaire is selling off his stars and selling out Pirates fans.

Learn a lesson or 2 Pohlads

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/16/2018 9:44:18 PM)

History repeating itself in Pittsburgh

I fully expect it to repeat in MN

Doing zero to help the offense was a terrible decision.

Mr. Ed -> RE: MLB General Information PT 4 (1/16/2018 9:45:42 PM)

The window is open NOW

It's a limited run the way the cheap ass Pohlad's see it.

With no extensions and salaries coming off the books, they'll be cashing in until the window closes and they'll sell out the fans.

Count on it.

Look at the Giants
Disappointed in their season

Now they have
Longoria at third
McCutcheon in the OF
Think Buster wants to leave that?

I would not classify it as selling out on the fans. If the window closes, they will try to pull a Houston or Kansas City by bottoming out and then coming back even stronger. In the long run, that's actually better for the fans. It paid off for Houston. It paid off for Kansas City. Pittsburgh is going to try it now. Chasing that neon rainbow every single year doesn't work. Even for the big money teams. Look at the Dodgers as prime example #1. They are always competitive, but never get over the hump. They should think about scrapping it and starting over.
