.?
There's a ton of good catchers on that list.
.?

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/18/2012 12:19:51 PM)

None better than Mauer!

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/18/2012 12:20:50 PM)

OK...the list I was looking at was kinda old. McCann is probably the best Braves catcher now. He's pretty good.

Best Astros catcher? Do you want to take a guess?

SoMnFan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/18/2012 12:24:02 PM)

I'd say ashby.
And he WAS good.

SoMnFan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/18/2012 12:32:19 PM)

Ausmus was a better defensive catcher, ashby offensively.

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (6/18/2012 12:39:57 PM)

Ausmus according to the article I found.

How about the Brewers?

See....all these guys are .05 cent common cards. They are not Joe Mauer.

Ted Simmons.

More career HR - Joe Mauer or Rod Carew?

Carew is the last batting champ ever to win it with Zero HRs.

Ted Simmons.

Not very good with the Brewers. Much better as a Cardinal.

The correct answer is Dave Nilsson.

I wonder if he got killed by Twins fans in 1979 for sucking after he set expectations in his 1978 MVP campaign. [;)]

Mudcat Grant.

Which one?

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (8/9/2012 11:51:41 AM)

The first one is almost impossible.

The next one is medium.

The last one shouldn't be too difficult for this group.

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (8/10/2012 3:20:42 PM)

Very disappointing effort. Last time I ever play that game here.

Answers:

#1. Dan Serafini
#2. Mike Lamb
#3. Rich Becker

Todd G -> RE: Baseball Trivia (8/11/2012 8:39:11 AM)

Hey man, at least I tried.

twinsfan -> RE: Baseball Trivia (9/20/2012 9:04:02 AM)

What was the lowest attendance ever for a Minnesota Twins home game?

Hint: It was at Metropolitain Stadium.

Also try to name the year and the opponent.

Shots in the dark are welcome.

Todd G -> RE: Baseball Trivia (9/20/2012 9:28:51 AM)

It's gotta be some bitterly cold game.  I'll bet it was in the 3,000's.  3,286.

Now I'm goting to look it up.

Todd G -> RE: Baseball Trivia (9/20/2012 9:31:20 AM)

SCHNIKE!
