ORIGINAL: Mr. Ed Since joining the Dodgers, Kevin Correia is 2-1 in 3 starts. In 14 IP, 2 BB, 12 K. Oh... and a 6.43 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP. 4 2/3 innings a start. crappy WHIP and ERA He's probably striking out more...but doesn't sound like he's any better. The win-loss record just goes to show you how truly worthless those stats are in dterminining a pitcher's value. David Price the other day gave up ONE run on ONE hit, complete game AND LOST. You can't blame him for that. He pitched an absolute gem. Who got the win the other day when the Twins scored 20? Hell, a pitcher can give up 27 hits and 19 runs and still get the win under those circumstances.
