Only took 4.5 years from being posted 8 years total with the Vikings. Now he has the same position with the very up and coming Cleveland Browns. What is the average coaching tenure in the NFL?

He was horrible, every kicker got worse, but I have seen worse special teams, and his job may have been saved by talented special teams players like Sherels and Patterson.

Good riddance to Priefer, hopefully the new special teams coach isn't an F, hopefully he is grade A.

Status: offline 		Well that sounds pretty enlightening, but I am suggesting it should either be deleted for irrelevancy, or since there is no thread for the new coordinator, maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea in this thread to open some discussion about him and the special teams, and whether or not we believe he will be an improvement over Preifer.

I don't see a need for a separate thread for the new special team's coordinator, as right now, I don't see discussion of him taking up a large space, or distracting from other Viking talk in the main thread.

Like Priefer lucked out with getting Patterson, I think Priefer lucked out that the Browns got a kicker that will give him some job security, for awhile.
