4 losses in a row. Didn't even have 3 all last season.

LA owns us right now. We just can't handle their defensive pressure. They've built on what they did well against us last season.

Maya needs to do more. She needs to take pressure off Syl.

Speaking of turnovers and Syl...Protect the damn ball. She's averaging over 4/game, and only has 2 games with less than 4.

On the positive, Alexis Jones played well and I liked what I saw from Zandalasini in extended minutes.

They aren't getting it done on defense. The Sparks shot 52% last night.

The coach has to be on the hot seat.

I heard the General Manager really let her have it after the game.

The GM should probably look in the mirror.

You should email that to Judd and Mackay

Lynx in a very tight day game with the Washington Mystics leading 52-49 as I type this. They really have to win this game. Going 2-6 to open the season would be very hard to come back from.

As much as I admire the commitment to the vets, it seems to be catching up to us.

Lindsay and Seimone can’t guard anyone, and are getting destroyed by speed. I saw more defensive switching in the last game than I’ve ever seen in a WNBA game. If that’s our answer on defense, we need to get way better at it quick.

And Maya needs to start being more selfish and playing like an MVP. She’s playing like Robin to Fowles Batman, and we need 2 Batmen...

We can have losing records for the next 2 decades and I have no complaints. It was all worth it. Ships.

4 straight wins for the Lynx. Not all against the best competition, but they're playing much better of late.

Lindsay, in particular, has been MUCH better the past 2 games.

Cecilia Zandalasini has established herself in the rotation during this winning streak. Good to see, she has a nice all around game. The Lynx needed a way to add some young talent as the core has started to age and at 22 years old Zandalasini could be the answer to that need.

Yeah, I was super excited about adding her last year. But she just got here too late to really be a factor.

She's also quite versatile. I think she has been asked defend at least 4 positions was effective at all of them. She is smart enough to know the offensive game from 2, 3 and 4. Her best moment is still the inbound steal and basket with 2 seconds to go.

I think I'll wait for Minnyme's assessment.

So you're saying you need Minnyme to tell you what to think? She must be the Dustin of the Lynx thread.

About time. The downside is 5 points 1 rebound combined on 2-11 shooting from Whalen and Augustus. It is safe to start watching again, but if those two aren't contributing I don't see us being a contender.

Sounds like the Lynx took exception to being called old by a couple of teams.

That was probably the worst played game by the team since we drafted Maya...

Something's not right it seems
They're getting the old Yankee/Laker and newer Patriot/Warrior treatment from the league this year .... and not answering very well.
When you put on certain uniforms, you better be ready EVERY night.
