Hell of a season, following up a hell of season
Wish the men "athletes" in this town would watch how these women take care of business.

Lynx win at Fever by two. Last second shot by Whalen. Moore led the Lynx in points, rebounds, and assists.

Down at the half, got down by double figures in the 2nd half.

Gave up a lot of 3s, hit some of their own.

Augustus was limited in minutes by coaches.

Moore is tough.

Moore is the WNBA's closest approximation to Lebron James IMO. SF/PF that handles the ball really well. With a combination of skills and physical superiority over her opponents she absolutely stuffs the stat sheet. Hopefully Augustus gets back on top of her game over the remainder of the regular season. 3-11 is not Augustus ball.
Lynx came close to going undefeated at home losing once on the year. Lynx clearly don't have all of the cylinders firing right now but still find a way to win almost every game anyway. I want to see them get on top of their game and sweep the playoffs.

I think she was there following both UConn championships, so this would be her third (Moore or less)...

Lynx lose by 16 at Sparks. Horrific shooting night at only 35% worst of the season. No lyndsay Whalen, another 3-11 from Augustus, zero points for Brunson. Maybe we are already starting to rest up for the playoffs because the starters played less minutes than usual. I am not trying to be doom and gloom here at all but it was ONE ugly game for us. One good thing is Devereaux Peters had a great game in 28 minutes going 6-8 FG and 5-5 FT with 13 boards 2 steals and 2blocks. Los Angeles is dangerous with Parker and Ogwumike. We will win it all but that is the team that concerns me the most of all our competition.

Fun watching the Lynx again. Taj didn't play. Dev Peters is getting lots of minutes lately. Close for one quarter Lynx take over in the second quarter get the lead up to 32 in the third than relax the rest of the way. Thorn with five or more threes as I am writing this with five minutes to go.

Ok, got a question. The Lynx have the best record in the league by a few games. How the heck do they open the playoffs on the road?

Mercury tank the season and get the biggest prize in WNBA draft history according to some. Griner 6'8" and led Baylor to 40-0 season. They will be VERY tough to beat and I bet they are the WNBA favorites for next year.

Brunson finished 4th in MiP voting.

I don't get this one. She averaged 1 more point, half a block and half a steal more and the same rebounds and assists as last year.

Kevin Love buys Minnesota Lynx playoff tickets for fans

The Minnesota Lynx are set to host their playoff opener on Friday night, and if you happen to be up to date on what Minnesota Timberwolves' Kevin Love is up to, you might have scored some free tickets from him. As reported to The Pioneer Press, Love bought 500 upper-level tickets for the Lynx's game against Seattle on Friday and gave them away on Tuesday.

Love will be attending himself, and gave away a pair of tickets to the first 250 fans to call in to the Lynx ticket office starting at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Love did this to support the Lynx, who finished with a WNBA-best 27-7 record this year. It's the second straight year in which they've been the NBA's best team, earning the No. 1 seed in the league and homecourt advantage throughout the playoffs.

Last year, T'Wolves coach Rick Adelman and general manager David Kahn both did similar giveaways to coincide with the Lynx's championship run. According to the piece, the Vikings, Twins and Wild all did it in support of the Lynx as well.
