Hey guys, did you see the one-tricker is pulling the same garbage he did in Oakland? Probably won't play again due to his hamstring.

We'll see, he's finally on a good team so who knows. P.S. I'm moving this to the "Former Vikes" Area

The guy took a $6M pay cut just so he could dog it with a hammy as a member of the Patriots.

16th all time for touchdowns and 21st all time for receiving yardage....pretty good trick if you ask me. Brady and Moss could be a lethal combination.

I for one think Randy Moss will do just fine in NE. Some people who talk about his "One Trick" obviously can't deal with Moss the person and so they have to label and name call........much like I do with Daunte Culpepper! :purpleshades:

Hoiseth still convinced the One tricker is through. Could anyone be more wrong. 9-183-1td. NE puts up thirty eight and dominates a dvision opponent/playoff team. Catches a 51 yarder thrown into triple coverage. He his on his way to the Hall. This NE team could be one of the best ever.

Meanwhile Oakland trades Moss, doens't play Culpepper, and Oakland is being shut out. Couldn't happen to a bigger bunch of suckers.

He has a second chance, everybody deserves that.

Moss is back and it doesn't surprise any of us here. He may not be as fast as he was in his first 3 seasons but he still has it, and the Jets have a good secondary as well but he made them look like Furman's secondary. Moss even brought a smile to Bill B's face after his TD.

The only issue could be if he isn't involved in the offense and they're losing games. Well, with Bill B as the coach, there isn't much of a chance of the former, and with the uber talent around him, not much of the later either. Bill B will not have him constantly run fly routes either, so he'll probably be fresher, which he will need. He has lost a step, but he hasn't lost that height or the acceleration when he needs it.

I'm not going to post any links due to shear laziness but DAYUMMM! how many sportswriters but articles out in the weeks leading up to the opener discussing how ineffective Moss was going to be this year. Here is a collection of catch phrases I was sick of seeing: 'won't command double teams anymore' - it looked to me that he was doubled on every play 'won't see the big games he used to because NE spreads the ball' - LOLOLOLOLOL 'he'll find a way to bring the organization down in the locker room' - has anyone noticed that incredibly hugemongous indellible smile on Brady's face?!!?!?! I could go on and on. Good for your Randy!

Randy Moss may be the best long ball receiver of all time. I can't think of anyone who can catch the long ball like him. It would be astonishing if he gets through this season healthy. I would put the over/under at six weeks before he goes down for about three weeks or more with a hamstring or something. The Patriots have done a good job of putting doubt in peoples minds on whether he will be ready or not. If Moss falls into some of his old habits and pouts or becomes kind of a front runner the Patriots are as capable as any team in the league of just going on and getting the job done. In the meantime Moss is going to help the Patriots blow some teams away.

I'd take a 183 yard per game deep threat who's 'one trick' is to adjust to the deep ball better than any receiver in NFL history. We could use that right now when our QB is 3 yards short or 3 yards long on every long pass.

The Patriots got a good deal for Moss. They only gave up a 4th round draft choice and he signed for a much lower salary. The Vikings could use a threat like Moss but I don't see it happening. I don't think the Patriots would have taken the risk if they didn't have such a solid structure of veterans and coaching and they figured that Moss could be that piece that gets them in position to win the Super Bowl.
