I made the comment a few days ago that Paul Charchian thought going into the season that the offensive line would struggle early, but get better as the season progresses. That looks like it was right on the mark.

Is there anyone who didn't see that likelihood?

Looked to me like the refs decided to give Lions the 1st quarter, then they were like "it's up to you Lions from here on out"

Cousins has been simply amazing! His passes are reminding me of when Bradford got hot in week 1 against the saints a few years ago. Except hes doing it for 12 straight quarters! Props to Cousins for stepping up like a madman!

I thought they would be better coming out of the gate. I bet there are many who bailed on them when they struggled early.

It is a sign of good coaching when you see players getting better. Our team still has a chance to be Super. We have yet to beat a good team on the road, though. Eventually we will have to that.

I thought they would be better coming out of the gate. I bet there are many who bailed on them when they struggled early.

It is a sign of good coaching when you see players getting better. Our team still has a chance to be Super. We have yet to beat a good team on the road, though. Eventually we will have to that.

The Lions have been strong this season. They easily could have been undefeated coming into this game. Stafford was on today but the offense simply couldn't be stopped. 2 punts and 1 missed FG (that should have been a TD), the other meaningful drives all TDs! Kirk made some incredible throws, he's been very decisive the past 3 weeks, his eye level has remained down field, unlike the Bears game where he was constantly distracted where the pressure was coming.

I wonder what Cook's yards after contact were? Felt like it was around 100 yds.

The emergence of Irv Smith can really make this group frightening. I will add that Rudy's 2 best games in the past 2 seasons have come in Detroit.

Great job by Bisi, some big shoes to fill but he came up with some clutch plays.

The D was worrying, but they did make some key plays, the 4th down stop and Hunter's sack.

Rhodes is worrying, but I will add several of those plays were difficult to defend. If Rhodes gets flagged early he seems to struggle.

If you rewatch the Diggs supposed drop in the end zone---he almost quit on his route and then tried to catch up again.

The #Vikings have allowed a grand total of three sacks and 16 pressures over the past three games.

They allowed six sacks and 21 pressures in Week 4 alone.

The offensive line deserves a TON of credit for the current three-game win streak.

Some stats I find interesting:

Vikings are 6th in total offense and 6th in total defense (yards per game).
Kirk #1 via the traditional QB rating at 114.3.
Diggs averaging 18.7 yards per reception.
Cook #1 in rushing yards, averaging 5.5 yards per.

My $0.02:

Mondays are always better after a win!

It's tough to win on the road - so I will take this road win!

Great game by the offense. They really played well as a unit today.

Loved seeing the TE more involved in the passing game. Rudy and Irv made some clutch catches!

The TD by Thielen was awesome!

Cook is a stud. Great balance, speed and power.

OL played well.

DL play was above average, but not great. Need to get more pass rush.

The stop by the defense after the drop by Diggs and missed FG was huge. It was only a 4-point game at that point.

Some miscommunication in the back 7 on defense - and Stafford took advantage. Some great play by their WR.

Gave up 21 in the first half - 9 in the 2nd. And part of that was in "prevent mode".

Loved the playcalling. The pass to Diggs at the end was HUGE. Wanted him to protect the ball better though, especially after his fumble earlier.

The fans were idiots. The refs were calling PI tight and consistent. The call on the play with Bisi was the right call.

Looked like Rudy got away with one grabbing the defender cuz he had the speed to go get it.

But agree Irv should be running that route and it might have had a different result.

I was defending Rudy pregame in here. But the guy should not be getting paid as an elite TE when he is that flat footed.

I hope that Adam Thielen's injury is limited to a strain and probably best that he not play this Thursday vs. Washington on a very short rest week. But it does force the offense to utilize other weapons and we saw some of that yesterday especially in the second half. Diggs has to hold on to those TD passes. That was a well thrown ball that he should have caught. The good thing was the Vikings did not allow that failure to set them back.

TE's finally getting some targets.

I think mainly cuz Theilen was out. Not alot of sense to throw to TE's when you have 2 extremely dangerous wr weapons.

All in all though I think it was the next step in the maturation of the offense.

Jones when healthy is more dangerous. He is never healthy though.
