I was hoping that the refs would the players play the game.

Vikings at Lions Game Observations #14: The referees seem too involved in games this year. 14 penalties on the two teams today meant that there were penalties on 10% of the plays. Too much, let the game flow more. Holding can be called on every play, we know that. #vikings

At the time I thought we dodged a bullet, but looking at it again it does look like the right call was made.

He got mugged. Definitely the right call.

I think Lions fans were acting like little kids. You don't get every call and non call just because you got hosed last week.

Seems like the right tackle on the Bears false starts a lot. No call on it.

He either has the best timing in the game, or the officials have a weird blind spot for him.

Bacteria does the same thing. His feet are really quick too, but watch him closely sometime and you'll see a few, especially on obvious passing downs (not to mention his unflagged egregious holds).

Yeah I've noticed that about him as well. He's really good at holding without getting caught.

Vikings at Lions Game Observations #4: Kevin Stefanski and Gary Kubiak got the TEs involved with 10 catches for 118 yards between Kyle Rudolph and Irv Smith, Jr. The key was not to focus on one at a time, but make both threats and they came through. #vikings

I think the Bears are about to implode if they keep playing Turdbiscuit.

Unless a totally unexpected blowout happens in the remaining games (or I made a mistake), the Vikings (+69) have the 3rd-best point differential in the entire NFL, behind only the Patriots (+142) and the 49ers (+92).

Eventual Super Bowl champions average 392.6 points per season, allow an average of 246.1 points per season and own a 146.4 point differential per season (link: http://www.nfl.com/superbowlchamps/offense). We're on pace to be in that ballpark or slightly better (our defense is lagging behind the offense, wow). Patriots are basically there already less than halfway though the year.

Baltimore is beginning to dominate Seattle.

A Seattle loss is good for us

Let's see how he does and the team performs vs. quality opponents.

He went from nearly bleeding to death on a practice field to being a 5-0 quarterback in a couple of years. Good for Teddy. He's a hard guy to root against.

I root for him because he has heart. I just don't really find him fun to watch. I'm glad he's doing well.

As much as I like him, the first thing that comes to my mind as his "signature play" is rolling to his right and intentionally heaving the ball out of bounds.

How about them Cowboys...

Cant stand rooting for either team BUT seeing Dallas lose and go into melt down mode soon is worth seeing the Eagles win...
