#Vikings Mike Zimmer on Austin Cutting of Air Force with Sunday Salute to Service “He stands right next to me during the national anthem every time & he’s always standing at attention very diligently watching the flag or listening to the song That’s what a true American should be.

History will recognize Colin Kaepernick as a true American Hero.
Heroes come in all shapes, sizes, colors and Uniforms.

Football hardly recognizes him anymore.

His jersey sales say otherwise.

i have no problem with kaepernick, but a lot of people do - and that's the nfl's problem with it....

when i was a teenager i refused to stand for the anthem in protest of the vietnam war....

Nicely stated. And bravo to your teenage sensibilities.

I'm grateful that the Vikings sent no representatives to Kaepernick's workout. It's another reason to love my team right now. That's all I'll say.

Big game for the Gophers. I have a bad feeling about it, but if they prevail I will tip my hat off to the coaching staff. It would be natural to have a let down today after what happened last Saturday, but great coaches can prepare the team for each big game. We shall see what happens.

Last week's game was a push for me. I'm a huge Penn State fan, but it was great to watch the team from my home state play so well. I hope they keep it up!

I believe he has one today? Put me in the who cares department. I don't think the guy is very good and now he's been out for how long? If someone takes a chance on him great. I don't see it amounting to anything.

Is Shades officially out on Sunday? I don't think he will be needed, but a hamstring injury is tricky.

Him, Linval, Josh Kline, Anthony Harris.

Ouch. Kline out might hurt more than the rest against the broncos.

Dozier is doing ok and becoming valuable.

My worry is the concussion protocols that we’ll need to add over the bye with Sendejo playing.

twitter is a truly incredible site because every single day without fail someone decides to calmly log on, take a deep breath & then have an absolute meltdown that ruins their life. no streaming service could ever match that type of entertainment value.

I really think Twitter is a bad thing.

It gives every meathead on the planet a platform. Which one would think that is a good thing but as you pointed out 99% make an ass out of themselves.

True. He is the proverbial loose cannon on deck. Sendejo has become a walking personal foul penalty. My wife thinks he is the best looking Viking on the roster, though. So, I guess he's got that going for him...

+1. There should be a built in 6 hour "cooling off" period before the post is available to the public.

No sympathy for coddled millionaires who if not for their freak athletic skills would have a tough time surving in our society with their IQ and life skills.

The Vikings need to play a signature game today. A complete team win with stellar offense, defense, and special teams play. No reason not to win 34-16.

Crazy game

Kirk destroyed a very good defense ( at home)

Obviously the defense is a mess and I have no idea what they can do to fix it

The offense is good, can't wait to get Theilen back. Really stupid to play him in KC IMO

Hope for even more improvement from oline

I think the balance of my hair turned gray today.

Broncos with 3, I repeat 3, fourth down conversions on that last drive.

Our defense just flat out can't get off the field.

Kearse should play regularly covering TE's. He has the size 6'5" and those long arms and isn't quite grabby enough to get flagged.

Waynes with a nice pass defensed as well to save the game.

Really thought Hunter and Grif would get more pressure than they did against mediocre tackles.

Jaleel Johnson was pretty good. H Smith as well but left game with a hammy. Hope it isn't serious.

There is no excuse for that. He is probably our best shutdown corner, and he hardly saw the field? Any human who can run would've been an improvement over X today.

Discipline?

Had to have been. The way our DBs played most of the game.

On another note, does the good doctor think we might have to sweat out Cook's shoulder? He kept playing but was moving it(on sideline) around like something was wrong.

What was with that late TO call by F' Zimmer?

Denv was out of TO's and a rookie qb and they looked way confused and Zim bails them out. What a fool.

in the first half stefanski was only calling runs and very short pass plays - kept the entire defense up near the line and we couldn't move the ball at all...i think he was ordered to call a conservative ball control offense and it just didn't work at all....

To protect Rhodes.

I watched the last 3 plays. Rhodes had help every play and sometimes 2 guys.
