Kevin Stefanski will be a head coach- maybe even next year. In the past we had two assistants go on to win Super Bowls as head coaches with other teams. My question is this: should the Vikings fire Zimmer and promote Stefanski? It seems like every year we have a different offensive coordinator.

I dont remember that happening very often, and that would be a bold move. Kind of the ideal for some, though: young innovative offense HC, paired up with older DC (hopefully not Greg Williams).

Depending on the playoffs, I bet a lot of teams will copy cat the Ravens (and 9ers) approach.

Do we know how much of the offense is KS, vs Kubiak?

Good question, although he is a unique coach in that even though he is still young he has served in so many positions even through different tenures of the head coaches. In answer to your question I believe he has been mentored by Kubiak, a former head coach, but I believe he is running the offense for the most part. I don't think Zimmer is interjecting very much (maybe an occasional "we've got to run the ball more") and I think he is really calling the plays on game day.

Amazing Kirk kept those losses as close as he did since he was apparently the only player on the field for his team. Last great two-way player......

There is no conspiracy whereby the officials/NFL favor the Packers. It saddens me to see how many extremely bright people fall for this kind of madness.

Would it surprise you that an intelligent friend of my wife's is certain that the the safety in the Minnesota Miracle play missed Diggs on purpose due to nefarious gambling interests? He built a whole case around how there is no other explanation......

There may not be a "Marty" style conspiracy, but they sure seem to get way more bad calls going for them than against them.

One year when Meathead was our HC...the Vikings sent NINE Plays to the league office that were bad calls all favoring the Packers at Lambeau...the league agreed. And this isn't a one time incident. It happens all the time there, in Pittsburght, in Dallas and in New England. Terrible officiating benefitting a few teams. Do I think there is an intent here? No. But the Packers almost never get a bad call go against them in Lambeau.

The Pats. Tuck rule was 2nd biggest ref call in my football life. (Take a bow, Drew Pearson.) No one had heard of it before that game. Never called before that, and maybe twice in the ensuing 20 (?) years. Such a bizarre rule. By the letter, would apply to about one-third/one-half of QB fumbles. The hell?

I like you had never heard of the Tuck Rule. As far as I know it had NEVER been called before. The call that led to the Patriots dynasty.

Oh I forget they dont keep individual stats on QBs in the NFL... its all a team game...

Kirk Cousins is 0-7 in his career on Monday Night Football. First QB to lose his first seven starts on MNF... Next closest 2 QBs lost their 1st 6 MNF games? Joe Namath... and Archie Manning...

If you didn't see this it's pretty good:

Cousins, 'Power Trip' Crew Read First Half Tweets From Sunday's Comeback Win | Under Center with Kirk Cousins

https://www.vikings.com/video/cousins-power-trip-crew-read-first-half-tweets-from-sunday-s-comeback-win-under-

"Unevaded"?

Yep Kirk said that many times. Unimpeded was what he was looking for. Wonder if he realizes he was using a non-word there.

Seems to be shaping up where the Vikings go back to GreenBay in first round of playoffs.

We beat them at home and it's more likely they come to us.

No individual player has ever lost a game. Teams win and teams lose. A player can be on the losing team, but that player didn't lose the game.

Itallics was not my writing, but if you like I will fix by saying:

A Kirk Cousins lead TEAM has never won a Monday Night Football game. The teams he has lead will go 0-8 with a loss on Monday Night to the Seahawks if Bad Kirk shows up along with continued putrid play from our DBs/ secondary and HC Zimm being outcoached by Pete...

A win on the road against the Seahawks would be huge in seeding implications in the playoffs!

Kirk Cousins of the #Vikings not only leads the NFL in passer rating, but his rating of 114.8 is on pace to be the eighth best in NFL history and best in team history.

Since becoming the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings before the 2014 season, there’s only one NFC team that Mike Zimmer has not been able to lead his team to victory against.... The Seattle Seahawks

Happy Turkey day all. Good second game to help with the over eating! Would love to see the Bills hand the Cowgirls another loss. Jerry just might fire the whole coaching staff.

How many Monday night games has a Vikings team led by Kirk Cousins (if you consider the QB the leader) lost. A football game is a football game. Whether it's played on Monday, Thursday, Saturday, or Sunday noon 3 or 6. Nothing whatsoever special about it being Monday. It's a tough game against a very good football team on the road. Odds are we lose. If we lose it won't be because Cousins isn't good on Monday nights.

Looks like the Eagles with the easiest remaining schedule in the NFL will prevail in their division for the fourth seed.

Pass Blocking Efficiency:

The @PFF "Pass Blocking Efficiency" rating measures pressure allowed on a per-snap basis with weighting toward sacks allowed.

#Vikings OT Brian O'Neill ranks T-4th with 98.1
