An underrated aspect of the game that has been consistent under Mike Zimmer is the Minnesota Vikings ability to tackle.

The #Vikings rank in team tackling grade:

2019: 1st
2018: T-1st
2017: 2nd
2016: 23rd
2015: 6th
2014: 1st

Underrated players on every NFL team

Eric Kendricks 12 pass break ups is the most for a LB in a season in PFF history... it's week 12

Do you think Kirk Cousins should be in MVP discussions?

He ranks:

2nd in PFF Passing grade
2nd in Adjusted completion %
2nd in passer rating on deep passes
1st in passer rating in a clean pocket

The Vikings offense ranks:

3rd in EPA/play
3rd in EPA/pass play

Adam Thielen said he probably wouldn't play Monday if his hamstring isn't 100 percent. But to this point, he said, everything has gone according to plan.

I'm upset with Facebook I posted 73 times this month and only one person responded to anything I wrote. (twice) For example I posted once about reporting to the state that I suspect one vulnerable adult of being a victim of abuse, but nobody even commented in response. I literally have hundreds of Facebook friends, but I didn't even receive any kind of "like" or otherwise response. I'm speculating that people aren't seeing my posts, but it also must be that I lack something.

I probably don't respond properly to all of your posts and comments here and I apologize. Nevertheless, it feels like I'm wasting my time. I need to go on a break from social media. If the Vikings lose on Monday someone else here will need to pick up the baton of looking at things in a more positive light. Don't count on me for awhile. I don't know. Like I was saying it seems like I am wasting my time.

Bruce. Thanksgiving is going on right now. Most people busy with other things. I appreciate what you share and don't worry about me being positive. I am always positive.

By and large with Social Media you are wasting your time. As is every one else. They just don't know it. It's the nature of the beast.

Seattle Seahawks defensive rankings

Total Defense: 24th
Pass Defense: 29th (268 YPG)
Rush Defense: 10th
Pass Rush Efficiency: 28th

(Purple Post on Twitter)

It looks like a good game to get Thielen back.

It sure would be. BTW those are strictly YPG numbers, Seattles pass D is actually pretty decent, they also give up 4.5 ypc in the run game.

With FB getting greedy and all the changes to social media transparency, unless you either pay to boost posts or have your settings for each friend correctly set very few will see 90 percent of what you post on FB these days... It limits most posts to what they consider the core of your friends, those being the ones you have recently chatted with or had interactions. You must ususally tag all those you want to see your posts for each item. (even those following you)

On here, with all the outlets to gleen Vikings info many just post when on an extremem high or low to reactionary topics... This venue is very antiquated but I still enjoy the community and what everyone shares partially because it feels like I have known many of you for my entire online experience starting in 1997 when information and Vikings boards were very sparse...

I love the Twitter feed posts as well as all your other posts!!! Don't get discouraged, I very much check in and appreciate all you bring to the site. Sorry i didn't respond sooner. I was in Las Vegas for a wedding (my wife's side of the family) on the 23rd. Then camped in Zion (did Angel's Landing hike), Bryce, and finally hit a bunch of the Arches hikes in Moab. Got back late Wed and then had Thanksgiving in Denver.

I'm at the airport flying to Seattle (my brother moved there a couple of months ago). My mom will meet us there and then it's on to Monday night Football!! I've got a new Vikings beanie to wear, new Vikings socks and my old faithful Randle jersey.

I loved how this schedule played out, two road trip games this year I'll be able to attend (two amazing venues in Arrowhead and SEA).

I like those numbers. Hockenson looked very pedestrian against the bears yesterday. Smith is going to be a very good player for us.

In Penn State's defense he would be called a hero back. that's a player that can line up at cb, lb, or safety. I think he's called a big nickel with Zim's defense.

That I know, just curious what PFF classifies him as, if safety, then we have 3 top 10 safeties?

Thanks Steve!!

A lot of reason for optimism, imo. Kubiak has been a great add, his influence of draft & development of young players on the offense will finally match what Zimmer has done. I think we are looking at 3-4 starters on the offense alone from the last draft.

Hoping we are healthy and bring it on Monday night.

I'm really hoping we can get Theilen back for this one. I think he will open some things up and gives us a bevy of options. It would be great if the D can get some of it's old form back as well. Here's to hoping we're winning along with not peaking quite yet! I really don't think the D has played well so I'm certainly hoping they can get to at least "good" status especially regarding the secondary.

Thielen officially is listed as questionable for the showdown between the 8-3 Vikings and 9-2 Seahawks.

Linebacker Ben Gedeon (concussion) is out. Also questionable are safety Harrison Smith (hamstring), safety Anthony Harris (groin), defensive tackle Linval Joseph (knee), and defensive tackle Shamar Stephen (knee).

Running back Dalvin Cook, who appeared on the injury report this week with a chest injury, has exited the final injury report. Likewise, guard Josh Kline is fully cleared after suffering a concussion against the Cowboys.

Good that Cook and Kline are off the injury report.

Based on the lack of roster moves (only 3 WRs other than Thielan) you would have to think he plays. Also one/both of our safeties will play. I expect Joseph to not play and Stephen to go.

Hope we stay healthy down the stretch run.

Makes me sick...

Even the announcers praise Rodgers, "NO ONE gets more pass interference calls than Green Bay... Their receivers practice faining and sell being held better than any team in league"

WTF, the opponents get hosed on lame calls and still they praise the cheese...
