Thielen out for Monday night. Need another WR for the game. Not sure why we are so thin at the position.

Guess that Docston signing was just a waste of space..

Not sure why they havent called up free agent Aldrick Robinson yet, he was servicable last year as a 3rd/4th WR

The Vikings could add another receiver to their active roster before Monday night. It's worth noting Josh Doctson's locker hadn't been cleaned out this week after the Vikings released him.

Thielen didn't make the trip so they had to know for a few days. A little late to fly someone out.

Guess that would indicate a heavy run gameplan in store with TEs Rudy and Smith picking up slack of multiple WR sets...

Plus a heavy dose of dump offs to Ham!

But the 9ers lost today, making the game Monday night very important for Seattle to gain division lead home field/ first round bye in playoffs rather than be wild card seed...

Monday night contest has big implications for both teams...

If we employ the plodder offense I don't like our chances. Odds are we take it on the chin tomorrow especially since our DBs have been suspect. Hopefully Pete is right and we match up well with them.

They must have thought AT was good to go. Wish we had more help at the positon. Eagles just went down to the fins. Hard to believe they may win that division.

The NFC East is shitshow... of the Cowboys and Eagles one team is going to be the division winnner and 4 seed in playoffs likely with a losing record, while its going to take ten plus wins to get a wild card...

The NFL has 3 or 4 elite teams followed by the second tier, where we swim, then all the rest. The east is all the rest.

At the very least a crappy division winner should be reseeded if the have a worse record than the Wild Card teams.

We need Bisi to step up and take some of the pressure off of Diggs. Can Tred go over the middle and catch some balls?

I was hoping we would never again put ourselves in the position of counting on treadwell to contribute to our chance of winning.

Apparently the spineless cowards can't win any other way.

It's the same deal with their OL. they teach a blocking technique that is technically holding, just not blatantly holding. Unless you are actually watching. The NFL was supposedly going to crack down on that, but it looks like they have decided they don't want the golden boy missing games, and are essentially allowing the holding blocjking technique going forward.

I know its asking for a years worth of production from him but 5 catches for 60 yards tomorrow would be amazing!

Robinson freelances his routes too much. That’s too cowboy for Zim.

The NFL announced Sunday night that the Bills at Steelers game is being flexed to Sunday Night Football on NBC.

The game originally scheduled for that slot — the Vikings at the Chargers — will to move to 4:05 p.m. ET on CBS. That’s good news for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins, whose struggles in prime-time are well documented.

So annoying... what if Diggs gets dinged up at some point in the game... then you are relying on rookie and Tread.... FFS... we should have been cycling FA/Practice squad guys until we found someone who could at least fill in.

Hope they just kick ass and make me look like an idiot.. but i don't like it.

Anybody watching Pats/Texans... I was wondering if Pats schedule was making them look better than they are.

Their offense has really struggled... not much separation from receivers and dropped passes and Brady missing.

Could just be one game... but the juggernaut seems to have slowed.

They did begin with a joke a schedule. There's no doubt their receivers can't separate/lacking chemistry with Brady. But they'll be fine, they'll have their home game in December, now rather than getting the Titans or weaker Texans teams of year's past they'll get the Chiefs or this Watson led Texans team instead.

Their defense is legit, and they do seem to have a lull this time of year. They usually have one in September then again in the weeks 11-15 range.

I can't stress how big this game is for us big picture. The only way we make it to the SB is by getting the #2 seed IMO, I just can't see this team going into SF and NO in back to back weeks. Our defense needs the crowd noise to get that jump.

A win here can put us in prime position. The Niners have a tough stretch, and if Seattle can beat the Niners again they'll have the tie breaker and if we can beat Seattle then we got the tie breaker on them.

I remember a few years ago when the Pats got off to a bad start with Brady looking old and thinking their time was up. Guess who won the Super Bowl that year? Guess who has won it again since that year? The Pats are not done until they don't make the Super Bowl and Brady retires and not a minute sooner.

Our lack of wr depth is going to rear it's ugly head. We all discussed what a problem this could be if Diggs or AT went down. Diggs hasn't been the model of health throughout his career so hope like hell he doesn't get nicked up too.

Guess we'll get a close up look at Josh Gordon tonight. A guy we probably should have picked up. He's certainly no long term answer with all his off field issues but might have helped during this stretch with AT out.

We've managed thus far w/o AT let's hope Bisi and Treadwell can step up. Might see a lot of Irv tonight as well.
