ORIGINAL: Richard Neussendorfer I haven't factored anything in this year. Why would I when we haven't made the playoffs yet? I don't know why you would do that, yet your statement that both Chili and Zimmer are 1-2 in playoff games but Chili did it in fewer years leaves no disputing that you did exactly that. What are you talking about? Both Chili and Zimmer are 1-2 in the playoffs??! Seattle? Philadelphia? What am I missing here? sigh I can't tell you about this year because it hasn't ended yet! All we can base it on so far is finished seasons. Come on Todd! If we go on a run and win the super bowl of course that would change everyone's viewpoints don't you think? Zimmer playoff record 1-2, in 5 seasons Chili playoff record 1-2 in 5 seasons So Chili did not do it in fewer years. Unless you are already counting this year as no playoff win. See, not so hard. Doesn't really bolster your argument that Zimmer is better now does it? If anything it says what I've been saying all along. Pretty much the same. It doesn't show Zimmer to be better, just that your statement that Chili did it in fewer years is incorrect. When Chili was fired, he had turned this team into a steaming pile. So far at least, Zimmer has the team competitive in most games. Whether Zimmer ultimately is remembered as the better head coach remains unknown. While it's extremely frustrating watching what was a very good defense turn to crap way to often, I remain hopeful that Zimmer pulls his head out of his ass or motivates the defense to pull their collective heads out of their collective asses soon. Good post Hagar! I agree with the defense comments. If we can get back to "solid" who knows what could happen. Looking up Chili's years I forgot about the 8-8 season. Whoops!
