Cousins and defense are who we thought they were

I'll give the Defense a little bit of a pass. They had to be out on the field 70% of the time.

With just a competent offense, the TOs should have staked us to a 10-14 point halftime lead.

True. But they’ve been bad all year
Rodgers was not sharp early and they even turned it over 3 times

When you don't trust your corners, it really makes it tough.

We know if the CBs don't have help downfield, it will be bad. And you can't give help to everyone, so those guys that don't have it have to play 8 yards off the WR.

So why are we taking corners in the first round who can’t cover

Either a GM or coaching problem. Or both

I hope he doesn't have too many more as a Vikings coach.

He should step down as coach if he cannot even be accountable and honest about his job at pressers!

At this point he is becoming not just a liability but an embarassment in his actions on and off the field...

Mike Zimmer is the coach that pulls the chair out and lets his team fall flat on their ass, then looks around smugly and shakes his head while contending no one stepped up and did enough to win...

Pathetic job of coaching encapsulated in his microcasm of use of time outs in game action.

It feels like we're wasting some talented players on less than innovative coaching. That's about as nice as I can put it.

Rams probably more talented than us and have the master innovator.

We just laid an egg in the most important game of the year. Forcing 3 TOs in a half and still looking uninterested.

Yeah I said the defense is probably pissed at that weak effort put out by the offense. I clearly blame the 7 first downs offensive shit show for this loss. The offense couldn't give 2 shits tonight.

No roll outs. Just very predictable vanilla stuff.

Did we think we could run over them like we did in Week 2?

Zimmer was probably pleased with our offensive play calls.

Most alarming is that our coaching staff has no answers when it becomes obvious a game plan isnt working, no adjustments, no firing up the troops... no imagination and no answers to anything, just keep running off the same offensive play sheet right through all four quarters with an occasional gimmick or trick play at the worst times for emphasis on the whole inept approach...

This game reaked of the stench of early season game plans when it was obvious there was heavy stink of a certain That 70's mentality on how the offense should run...

Speaking of RUN how did we ever devise such a game plan knowing our best TWO running backs were out of the game and we go out with those scemes and planned plays? What The F u c k are these coaches thinking in such a big game?

Lots falls at feet of Kirk and his inability to win under bright lights, as well as the exposed OL, yet we schemed and game planned around all this to where we are with a decent record, yet our Coaching let us down tonight in our biggest time of need, even when handed gift turn overs which should have been able to exploit to a W...

All the excuses you want to make, these Zimmer coached teams just will always be a let down waiting to happen under the brightest lights and biggest moments...

Minneapolis Miracles will not win Super Bowls...

But, we did do it against Denver. We did make a comeback against SEA.

Tonight, NOTHING.

One positive...... probably not going to hear a tomorrow post about how difficult it is to win on the road in the NFL.

But, winning in the NFL is hard. So I guess that should make us feel better.

Does anybody still want Zimmer coaching this team next season?

3 first half turnovers, against a mediocre football team, at home. We scored 10.

Maybe Todd can come in here and justify the loss, or blame the officials, or the league.

Maybe we're just not very good. That sucks, but it's true.

The Tin Man was very stiff tonight! Zimmer and company forgot the oil can and it looked like the entire offense lacked heart!

Right or wrong the narrative on Kirk continues to grow as his losses on MNF and under bright lights against good teams mounts...

At some point its just time to call it what it is...

MVP talk and all was fun... but... sorry Vikes fans, the rest of the NFL world is laughing at us now~

We stopped the hell outta' the run against the Packers this season. We stopped Jones to the tune of 270 yards in two games.

10 turnovers in the last two games, what did that get us? A victory over a horrible team (even though Todd likes to point out that Rivers is a future Hall of Famer) and a loss against a very flawed team, AT HOME.

The Eagles played an important game yesterday. They played that game without their #1 WR, their #2 WR and their #3 WR. Also without, arguably their best RB. Their best TE suffered a broken rib early in the game. Their QB is on pace to absolutely shatter the all-time fumble record. They found a way to win.

We don't seem to be like that.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe Zimmer is a great coach. Perhaps our players aren't as good as we think they are. Who gets the blame for that?

I understand that fans will be biased, but Rudolph is a waste of money. He's a good redzone TE. That's it. He's a liability otherwise.
He gets endless praise because we compare him to our previous TE's. I'd rather have Blake Jarwin, not even close.

We think we have the best RB combo in the league. Jones and Williams probably disagree. I'm guessing Gordon and Ekeler do to.
And McCaffrey and anybody.

Meanwhile, we have just two WR's. Seriously, we brought Treadwell back. What's our problem with WR's? We think two is enough?
We pay our QB a lot of money. Mannion could probably throw balls to Ham and Abdullah too.
