Oline needs to be retooled again.

Say goodbye to Elflain and Rieff.

put Bradbury in the weight room tomorrow and lock the door until OTA's.

And for the obligatory gimmick guy, use it on the OL. Maybe some 6' 5" 400 lb ballerina type to play G. Yeah we had the Polish giant Aiyegbusi, but he was more of a tackle!

Hope O'Neal is ok from that cheap shot by Bosa

Move O'Neal to LT now and tell him one day he can seek revenge.

Halftime. Win or lose, and regardless of what goes on with Cousins as long as he is in Minny, our next QB needs to be able to make plays with his feet. Defenders are just too fast and powerful not to have a QB that can move to give a play half a chance to continue. The only way you don't need that type of QB is if you have an overwhelming running game, or your QB is a more of a game manager... perhaps in a West Coast Offense.

Not knocking Cousins, although he telegraphs going into a shell. It's just the way the game has evolved. Two, three, or four plays a game that continue can mean a lot. It's like having 11.5 or 12 guys on O.

Trade DET a 1st for Sloter

They won’t take it.

I wanted someone to cheap shot him. But then I thought about it. If GB wins, I want SF at full strength.

They might want to slide some HGH under that door while they're at it.

Elflein will still be on his rookie contract next year. I doubt they cut him.

The interior guys can block downfield, but good luck running between the tackles, and they don't pass block well enough against the better DTs when Kirk stays in the pocket. Seems like a fatal flaw of this offense.

With this offense, either need a mobile QB or an interior OL that can pass block a lot better. The fact that Bradbury and Elflein can block downfield was useless today.

Can't believe we looked that soft! Yeah I figured we'd lose with the short week and all but we got beat down. 8 first downs! It was a redo of the Packer game except this time no excuses. We had Cook and Mattison. I bought into us being a better team than we were unfortunately.

Elflein lead the league in getting clubbed(Reggie White style). He is a fringe player who might find himself on a practice squad next year.

In this day and age it seems painfully obvious that you need a qb that can move a little. I hope like hell we draft someone in the first couple rounds.

Agreed
Cousins is such a statue
We all agree the oline stinks, but not sure why we think Spielman can correct it
He signed Reiff, he drafted Elflein, he drafted Bradbury.
He has 0 idea what he is doing

A statue QB can succeed if he gets rid of the ball quickly.

I think Cousins holds onto the ball longer than any qb in the NFL this year.

He does hold it way too long. Everyone will blame everything on the Oline which I agree needs to be better. Cousins needs to be quicker pulling the trigger as well.

Probably some of both. With Elflein, his athleticism coming out was known to be poor. Pretty much the opposite of what this regime has looked for in defensive linemen.

IMO the "blind side block" rule is a joke, players should keep their head on a swivel.

Well if Bradbury is a big miss that's very unfortunate.

Will be plenty of angles on today, but what I saw was the same old Zimmer Ball that comes up small in these types of situations...

Yup! He'll get his one more year and I doubt we even make the playoffs. We will go 0-4 against the Bears and packers again so we better do well outside of our division.

Shanahan played Zimmer ball today. And it worked pretty well.

Like I've said before, is Stefanski ever at fault for the same old play calling? The worst decision making Franchise gave him an interview. Did anyone else?

We get punked against youthful coaches and QBs who have proven nothing in the NFL...

I have no faith Zimmer ball will ever do more than limp into or just miss the play offs on strength of schedule beating the shitty teams...

How quickly did Lynch turn San Fran into a dominant team?

How long has Spielman been at this big building mediocre teams
He hits on a guy every once in awhile, but for the most part his teams have gaping holes
It’s like once he plugs the damn in one spot, another leak pops
