Question:. Which receivers offer good route running? Diggs and Thielen are both good at that and it works with Cousins.

Jeudy is supposed to be the best. Both Jeffersons are high on that list.

This is sooo interesting to me. It breaks down the top receivers and ranks them by traits.

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2020-nfl-draft-wide-receiver-rankings-the-top-10-wrs-ranked-by-trait-route-running-yac-speed-and-more/

I'd say that if I want to replace the route running of Diggs with the receivers likely to be available, Reagor is the guy.

I'm getting a good Vibe for Reagor. I wouldn't be upset if he is our pick at 25. Could be a TCU tandem of Gladney and Reagor.
Out of the 6 categories they rated Reagor came out with an average of rank 3.67 per cat. Jeudy came out just behind him with an average of 3.83, Lamb was next best at 4.00 per cat. Ruggs next at 4.67. Now maybe the cats shouldn't be weighted equally, but rating them equally Reagor comes out as the best WR in the draft.

Since there are so many supposedly good WRs coming out, maybe we better double up at CB in the 1st depending on who is left.

22 - CB
25 - CB
58 - WR
Trade up - OL

This will change tomorrow when I go back to

CB
OL or DL
WR
OL or DL (whichever one was not addressed in the first)

Too me it feels like any position group that is supposedly deep spells Spielman addressing it later not going for the cream of the crop. Wouldn't be surprised if no WR's the 1st 3 picks.

I really want a WR in the first three. We could get a difference maker in the top three picks. Somebody we get later isn't likely to be more than just a guy.

I think he gets caught in the tail end of the mix, what with Treadwell, Elf, and O'Neill.

On multiple occasions he has said "Nobody saw that coming."

Has HD sorted out their new p/u process? Is business still strong even after the new means to shop?

I like 2nd option.

We have had 2 years of knowing the difference between good Cousins and bad Cousins. Fix the OLine.

Cooks to Texans

Do trades start heating up now with 2 weeks left before Draft?

He has multiple times. Granted since I don't routinely watch the entire draft, it's a small sample size. But even day 3 types when I did watch... astounding correlation.

https://www.espn.com/espn/story/_/id/29018209/poll-fans-attend-games-vaccine

In a Raising Arizona "Say, that reminds me" moment, if it comes to that will the NFL give people their money back, prorate, etc?

NOTE: the sample size was 762 and may have been collegiate related. NFL fans are older so one would think the % would be higher, but then again a lot of them do not look like they use care to take care of themselves... so who knows?!

O'Brien is such an idiot...8 Million to a player with 5 concussions...he is 5' 9".....Probably 4-5 WR at that 2nd pick available that are better. The fast Penn St. kid is the same player, Hamler. 5'9" blazing speed....watch the Rams draft him.

Did the Rams take a big hit in dead money, though? I'm not so sure it's a slam dunk trade for them. Maybe.

This was a reverse trade of the Hopkins one. They received a 4th and gave a 2nd, they received a 2nd and gave a 44th. Other than swapping Hopkins for Cooks they got David Johnson and have to overpay him.

Here are some details about the trade. I actually think it was an ugly trade for both teams. Lots of dead money for the Rams.

Watson is a MUCH BETTER QB than Goff. Cooks could have a resurgence.

He probably will to some degree... but do you trade Hopkins for Cooks?
Not me.

5 concussions is the problem for me....you go from an all world guy that has hammy questions weekly to a player that is one hit from being done. Drafting the replacement was a better option.

LMAO at the NFL... last year they had draft crap in like three cities set up for a money grab. This year, zero.

At least they moved some or all of it away from NY which spared viewers watching idiot Jets fans clapping and hooting for the pick even if they didn't know who the hell the player was.

You can always tell... right after the announcement their eyes widen as they search their brain for just an iota of confirmation, eyes then instantly change to the deer in the headlights look when they find none, then the delayed, phony clap.

I think Kiper coined the term "reach" when the Jets picked Jeff Lageman eons ago (checked and it was 1989).

He provided a simple explanation, don't pick someone at a given spot when you can get the same player later.

Hamler can't catch, though. Read any profile and that's a prominent feature. He just doesn't have the hands.
