Typical Vegas. Hague gets away with 2 minutes for cross checking Kaprizov face first into the bench. Later when Foligno and Hague fight, they piss and moan because Foligno didn't get an instigator.

BTW, turns out Kaprizov can handle himself in a scrap. He bloodied Whitecloud's nose.

I don't think Whitecloud was expecting him to pull a wrestling move and go for the one leg take down with an elbow to the face once he was on the his back.

Last nights game was as close as you get to playoff style hockey.
Too bad the refs decided they had to give Vegas a PP right after we took the lead.....
They were letting cross checks and worse go all night and then to make that hooking call at that time really sucked.

That was a weak ass hooking call.

Then you probably had to look away when he was owned and held down by Kaprizov, who is about half his size.

I loved watching Kaprizov give him a bloody nose after his cheap shot.

That was a hooking call where there was clearly no hook. The NHL has anointed LV. That's why they get away with ridiculous amounts of shit, while having ticky tac even up calls go there way. Don't get me wrong; LV looks to be the class of the NHL right now, but they are also a dirty ass hockey team and the league has decided to be OK with it.

Yep, Kaprizov came skating back to the scrum and Whitecloud came from the side and sucker punched him. Kap executed a beautiful single leg take down and face wash. Kaprizov was the smaller man, but he is strong as a bull.

Blacked out for me, but I was listening.

Evason never gives Stripes hell, but admitted to pulling down his mask on that one.

Can make the argument that was a call that led to a 3-pt swing in the standings
for The Dirty Knights.

A slow start against the Ducks, but came on late for a 2-1 lead after 1.

Followed up by a very poor 2nd period to go to a 2-2 after 2.

Rask needs to be replaced.
Practically an “own goal” assist tonight.
Message to Parise as scratch?
Rather see him playing Center than Rask.

Dumba looking like last year Dumba again lately.

A lackluster 3rd leads to an OT tied at 3-3 after 3......
Not having a good feeling about our chances in OT the way they have played tonight.

Never mind....just win the faceoff and give the puck to Kaprizov....shoot.....score...game over. 4-3 final, good guys get 2 points and didn't play well at all.

Actually I didn't miss Parise at all tonight.
Rask's play on that goal was a real head scratcher for sure.
Suter sure didn't look interested tonight, must have been worried about his buddy in the press box.

Special K was special again today! So glad he's wearing our colors. He was worth the wait. This team is so much more fun to watch than the Twins.

I don’t miss Zach either, but he has been giving good effort lately and he isn’t
a turnover machine like Rask. (Including Face-offs)
But Evason continues to insert Rask into critical positions and he continues to turn the puck over.
#1 PP, Between Zuccs and Special K until it was beyond obvious he was holding the line down.
I don’t get it. Give Ek or a Bonino those critical minutes.
Suter has always played too non-chalant for my taste. But most the time he’s pretty effective.
Bottom line is Ek is our best Center, then Bonino, and then we’re meh.
We need better badly, but Evason needs to quit forcing Rask into critical lines.

Not a real big Rask fan here either, but he is what we have at center for now.
Zach isn't a center and has never played there other than to take a few draws here and there, so scratching Rask for him won't go well in my opinion.
This team isn't there yet, but even with the guys we have now we are better than anything we have seen in a quite some time.
Getting Rossi at full strength should be a big help at center, but we still need another top center if not 2 more for next season.

I know Zach’s not a Center.
Hyperbole on my part to make a point.
I agree about this team.
I don’t like Evason playing Rask as if he’s our #1
Center.
I like Evason (Love Guerin).
We can be better, IMO, if Evason stops forcing
Rask into #1 minutes and overplaying Talbot.
Special K has made this team so fun to watch.
Foligno is our heart and soul; I can see
every night why he was considered
for Captain.

Disappointed to see the Wild play down to the competition. A few thoughts

-Just as Dumba was winning me over, he reverts to form. He's been a turnover machine lately
- I'm so used to Parise being a non factor that I didn't realize he wasn't in the lineup for 2 periods.
- The last time I saw something like Rask's turnover was Martin Skoula
- Kirill the Thrill is already hands down, no ifs ands or buts about it the greatest player in Wild history.

Whipping boy Rask gets the OT game winner tonight.......
Not a pretty game but we got the 2 points to keep the pressure on the Avs.

Rask did play better, as did the whole team.
He did, however, need to atone for not winning the game
in regulation with an empty net.
As SMF would say:
“Just taaaap it in, just taaaap it in...”

Hartman off the Schnide too, but mostly #97 on the 1st 2 goals.
His vision and skill is freakish.
