I hear that Micah Parsons is the shit. If he's a perennial All Pro he could be a better choice than a Vera-Tucker. Picking OL with our first pick should not be a lock. This from a man who believes OL is the most important position. We still should have an open mind.

The lone voice in the wilderness a decade from now saying LB was the choice.

I was first to proclaim he is a whacked idiot with no book or common sense. Trouble with that claim is ten other posters are saying they were first.

You are the first asshole of the board. You have no challengers for that honour.

Picking OL with our first round IS a lock..

No unit sux more..

And has for well over a decade.

You are insane.

If a player at another position is head and shoulders better you pick him. Doesn't matter that the OL sucks.
Now honestly I don't know if he is head and shoulders better than Vera-Tucker, but if he is we should take him given that choice.

Go back to reading your fairy tales as told by methuselah and Judas.

Imagine if people actually kept people on block they needlessly advertise blocking in the 1st place.

True. I used to have Trevor hair when I was in a band. When I started playing Judo, it all got cut off. I still miss it.

Wilson can make every throw in the book. The only thing that should be a worry is his frame. He's a little light for his style of play.

Todd I'm not sure how Bill came off block. Shit happens. However, sometimes I enjoy fighting back instead of giving an asshole free reign.

Ha! I actually belted in BJJ and Judo. Joejitsu sounds cooler than joejudo. At least to my ear.

That was kind of a surprise. They sold Jones or Fields hard yesterday. Jimmy Gorgeous might end up in New England sooner than I thought.

You spent countless electrons claiming the title of “we have needed OL, SINCE FOREVER, yet the first thing you put out as the draft starts is a fn linebacker?

Of all the units on our team, that need to be addressed.. FN linebacker is dead last for need.

WOW 3QBs in the first three picks. For those who didn't want to get a QB this draft is going excellent for you.

I didn't say that we should draft a LB. I said if he is a far better player then we should. That is wise. You don't win by drafting a position no matter how crappy the player is. You need to get great players to win. If Parsons is by far better than an OL even though we need OL more he's the better pick. I thought I read here that Barr was gone. I now see he isn't gone. So that does change the thinking a bit.

Still 252 picks... I’d say the chances favor one getting picked...

Maybe it means that some of the quality oline guys get pushed into our lap?

It doesn't hurt making that happen. If Sewell, Slater and Darrisaw are gone I'm thinking that OL probably isn't our best move. Maybe a trade down to pick up a 2nd rounder and take Vera-Tucker a little later.

Keep the faith, my friend. There HAS to be an available olineman that will help us.
