According to Fantasy Index, the Vikings have the No. 29 rated offensive line. They have Christian Darrisaw and Dakota Dozier both rated as "Definitely Below Average", Garrett Bradbury as "Above Average", Ezra Cleveland as "Probably Below Average" and Brian O'Neill as "Average".

For what that's worth.

According to the magazine, "no team is spending less on its five starters than Minnesota, and it shows."

I don't think it is worth much.

Darrisaw hasn't played a down.
Bradbury isn't above average at this point.
O'Neill is above average.
Cleveland is TBD.

They got Dozier right.

I would agree with most of that. Fantasy Index is great at grading playmakers, but o-line is not one of their specialties.

However, having said that, I think they are dead on with their No. 29 ranking. This offensive line is bad. Lets not forget, the o-line stayed fairly healthy last season. If they don't stay healthy, they have almost no depth whatsoever. If O'Neill or Darrisaw go down, open up the turnstiles.

Lets also not forget, Christian Darrisaw is a rookie that will see Khalil Mack (twice), Aaron Donald, TJ Watt, Joey Bosa, Myles Garrett, Nick Bosa, Demarcus Lawrence, JJ Watt, Za'Darius Smith (twice), Chandler Jones, Jadeveon Clowney and Arik Armstead this season. It's a bad year to have a poor offensive line with a rookie left tackle.

Best of luck young fella.

If Cousins misses any games because of Covid I don't see how the Vikings bring him back next year. The PR hit would be absolutely massive.

I think any team that has an unvaccinated starting QB is hamstringing their season.

Here's my hit from SportsCenter on what Kirk Cousins said following his 5 day stint on the COVID-19/reserve list what he'll do to protect against winding up back on that list - like putting Plexiglas around his seat in the meeting room - .

Maybe they could put one of them "Plexiglas" thingys around him on the field during games & give him better protection for more time to find his receivers. Might be a little hard to maneuver during rollout plays but he would probably be at peace with himself.

Cousins said he's considered setting up plexiglass around where he sits in mtg room to limit any exposure that could land him on the COVID-19 reserve list.
"We’re going to avoid this close-contact thing, and I look forward to making sure I’m playing for every game this year"

You can't bring that shit on the field dumbass.

Cousins: “Correct. And the NFL has encouraged us to get vaccinated and, as I said, it’s just a very private health decision."

I am now done with Kirk Cousins. He can't be gone soon enough.

And Brad, we don't need to discuss if he can or can't run a two minute drill....

Or, do you want to continue using it as a platform for your agenda?

I'd rather talk Vikes, unless there is a reason not to.

It doesn't matter if you think the vaccine is a scam. Unvaccinated players can cost their teams games, and teammates game checks this year. the NFL rules are clear.

Any player refusing vaccination is putting themselves above their team and in the ultimate team sport....that is a fatal combination for success.

Kirk Cousins can go to hell. So can Harry, so can Adam. and any other player that refuses to vaccinate.

YOU don't make the rules that can effect the outcomes of games, the NFL does. and guess what, they don't agree with you.

This cements it for me too.

He's far too selfish to be a leader of men and get's tight in big moments.

Does he really believe some of the shit he's spewing?

Hope Mond can be ready next year.

Personally, I would call Denver and offer Cousins straight up for Teddy Bridgewater right now.

Might be step back production wise but at least the selfish ****wad would be off the team.

Seriously.

Enough already.

Again

I don't give a damn what your personal beliefs are on this pandemic and vaccination

It doesn't matter what your beliefs are.

The NFL has rules that make it very bad for a team if a team can't play because unvaccinated players got sick and spread the disease (fraud or not). Any player refusing vaccination puts his team at risk to forfeit a game...and cost every one of his teammates a game check....

Refusing vaccination in a team sport makes you the most selfish twits on the team.

They are putting themselves above the team. and that is going to cost this team in the long run.

So I am not talking politics. I am talking Vikings.

And how players on their own team are selfishly undermining our chances of success.

First step to building a champion in the NFL. Get 53 guys on the roster with talent AND a willingness to put the team first.

It's a big reason why Bill Belichick as been so successful in New England.

When players got too self important, no matter how good they were, he dumped them.

Tom Brady embodies what Belichick promoted...team first. he got vaccinated despite his beliefs, because the team comes first.

You can lead a horse......

Is that all you got from that video David F? Or did you even take the time to listen to the whole thing? Your self righteousness probably impacted your decision making on that one.

Trekgeekscott, using your logic on how this conversation impacts the Vikings, how did you not see the profound impact the conversation of the video above doesn't impact the Vikings and the false fear narrative?

But still you want to be political

Better bring more to the table than that.

Ugh, I popped in to see if there was any interesting Vikings news - Brad provided some - but then people started feeding the troll, who apparently has nothing better to do than wait to hijack this site.

Are there no mods interested in keeping this site viable?

This has got nothing to do with politics

This is all about the NFL rules.

Team sport. Ultimate team sport. and some players are putting themselves above the team. It's that simple.

YOU are keeping the political part going. No matter what my beliefs or your beliefs are, the NFL rules are clear, if a player remains unvaccinated and that status causes a situation where a team cannot play it's scheduled game that team will forfeit that game and no player will receive his game check. That puts the unvaccinated player in a position where he would be personally responsible for players on their own team from getting paid and the team taking a loss. It is a most selfish of acts on a sport where you depend on the rest of your team for success. Selfishness does not win championships.

Yup, the rules are the rules. I wouldn't care if he was vaccinated or not if the league stopped testing for Covid and just went back to normal but that isn't happening.

Once again, is it team first if you die of complications from the vaccine? Does having the vaccine totaly prevent the spread? Is there no chance of star players being out of the line up if everyone has the vax?

Would the NFL even have these protocols in place if the masses got educated?

You can address me anyway you want or try to censor what I am saying, but that doesn’t change a thing in the grand scheme.
The COVID scamdemic is ruining sports including the NFL and the Vikings.
