I just feel this sense the Wilfs are going to chicken out and take one more shot at it.

Of course I've shown no skill at feeling things...

I don't feel that at all. The Wilfs aren't stupid. If they couldn't figure it out themselves by watching the games, they surely can sense it from the fans. I'd be very surprised if we don't have a new coach and a new GM. Both are culpable for this mediocre product.

He’s a top 12 QB with a lot of arm talent, but he doesn’t have the intangibles that separate the top tier QB’s.

Yeah, I'm exhausted defending Kirk as someone we don't want to get rid of and mostly bc I see the odds of getting someone close to as good as slim. I'm on record as saying screw the rebuild let's play this out with the talent we have and will acquire going forward...

re: intangibles --- I don't know, seems to me when you're playing with the worst defense, especially one that consistently gives up the most points of any team at the most demoralizing times in a game, a stubborn coach that has no give, arguably an OC rated way over on the left side of the bell curve and an OL that you people point out week after week how horse shti they are ... what level of intangibles can over come that? What QB with all his magnificent intangibles is going to get this team a decent seed in the tournament?

I keep checking CBSsportsline every hour, hoping to see Zimmer has been fired.

How often should I keep checking this ?

I tend to agree. I'd also throw in there that if they are at all on the fence about Kirk, that appeasing JJ might be enough of a consideration for them to retain Kirk for one more year rather than trade him. JJ's extremely productive first two years, thanks in no small measure to Kirk Cousins, sets him up for an incredible payday in a couple years. It's certainly in the team's best interests to keep JJ happy.

Ship out Cook, cut Barr

Go 3-4 WR all the time with Mattison, Wrong-wu and whomever else they grab

QB? Unless the new coach is a miracle worker, someone else. If they can't get creative, it'll be the guy who struggles to read the field, audible and ad lib.

That is exactly why Cousins will never be a winner… so robotic, no vision, no ability to read a defense and check out of a horrible playcall, takes very, very few risks.. can’t run through his reads fast enough to make a decision..misses wide open possibilities, because he is laser focused on his primary receiver..

I will not cry a single tear when he roll out of town..

Barr is already set to be a free agent.

Would you give up Barr and Bridgewater in the 2014 draft to take Derek Carr, instead?

I would have..

Spielman traded down one spot to get another late round pick, to choose Barr, then traded up to get Teddy @ 32..
