i'm thinking that sf is trying to get a back-door deal for cousins....

cousins would probably be more conducive to playing for shanahan than anyone with the colts....

make it happen kwesi....

I don't know if SF is God fearing enough. But Indy, the home of Mike Pence.... KC can probably arrange God's word be piped directly into the locker room. You know, on Sundays, when one is supposed to rest.

If Adam Thielen gets traded the Kwesi/KOC honeymoon in Minnesota would be over real fast #Vikings

That kind of favorite son crap is bothersome. It SHOULD be an insult to the fan base. It's not the Minnesota Thielens or the Minnesota Local White Boys Made Good. He was a late bloomer who had a few good years as a #2 WR opposite Diggs and Jefferson, and is now a player on the downside slope. His ridiculous cap #'s the next three years are 17, 18, 18.5.

Besides, a trade presumes an equal value in return.

Oh, in the last three years Cook has played more games than Thielen.

Thielen isn't worth that money, as good as he has been it doesn't change that fact going forward.

I don't give a damn what his childhood address was.

I hope the new front office uses analytics in this instance.

I just paid $100 a ticket to sit in top level of the stadium to see a bad Vikings team but I am happy to do it if I can squint and see "Thielen" on the back of one jersey.
NOPE !!!!

I have a trade idea:

Cousins and our first round pick this year for Quentin Nelson or Deforest Buckner and the Colts first round pick next year = 2nd round value?

Sirius NFL has been bringing him up as the best possibility for QB needy teams around the clock. Yesterday on Moving the Chains they said it repeatedly and this morning on my drive in to work on Airing it Out Bob Papa and Charlie Weis talked about it and then on The Blitz they led with the Wentz trade and went right into options for Indy and other QB needy teams. They referenced Cousins and Garappollo as the two good choices and Mariota and Winston as the bargain choices. All shows are mentioning that this is possibly the worst time ever to be a QB needy team as so little is available via trade or free agency.

Vikings twitter is a strange animal. I got sucked into it in the middle of last season and followed a bunch of the regulars. There's two of them that have actual insider information and like 600 others who spend their day slightly rewording other people's tweets to make it look like their own original idea. They all follow each other and have like 2000 accounts they're following with only about 5000 followers of their own. They all hit "like" religiously on each other's tweets - I imagine to bolster the "validity" of the collective. Many of them make their twitter account look like an official Vikings account and then get "offended" if people mention they don't care for the political tweeting that so many of them can't help themselves from. I ended up unfollowing just about all of them except for the couple that actually have information.

Here is an easy litmus test. Who follows them?

On Twitter I follow all the major Vikings writers for local and national publications, most of the big national NFL guys and a handful of the bigger blogger/website guys.

Almost anyone worth reading will be followed by at least a few of the guys I follow.

Take Arif. Love him or hate him, he's followed by 27 people I follow. Including all of the Minnesota guys (Judd, Tomasson, Scoggins, Wolfson, Schmidt, Jon K, Gleeman, Christensen, etc).

Oh it's going down now ...

The new regime is adding hundreds more of specialty coaches today. Rumors on twitter say it's for casting the new training camp performance of the Ten Commandments - Parting of the Red Sea scene.

I guess Cousins has offered to reduce his guaranteed salary by 65K to meet this lifelong goal (not the 'break .500' one, the 'Charly Heston' role).

It's part of a clever out-of-the-box strategy to help pay for T.Y. McGill.
